Itinerary

Pass By: Liberty Bridge (Szabadsag hid), Vamhaz Korut, Budapest Hungary

We begin our tour at one of the most beautiful bridges of Budapest, the Liberty Bridge (in Hungarian: Szabadság híd) where we have a drink in the nearest gay bar. This is the first leg where you can marvel at the beautiful illuminated view of the city.

Stop At: Why not cafe and bar, Budapest, Belgrád rkp. 3-4, 1056 Hungary

After a friendly chat we will make our way alongside the River Danube where I also show you one of the oldest gay bars of the city. On the way to the Chain Bridge (Lánchíd) we have a look to the view of the beautiful Gellert Mountain and the Buda Castle District as well.

Pass By: Szechenyi Lanchid, Budapest 1051 Hungary

We will talk about the most iconic bridge in Budapest that made history in our capital for being the very first and permanent one here.

Stop At: St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), Szent Istvan ter 1, Budapest 1051 Hungary

We will continue to the St. Stephan's Basilica, the biggest Roman Catholic church of the capital. This is an excellent place for taking pictures!

Pass By: Andrassy Avenue, Andrassy ut, Budapest 1061 Hungary

Honestly, the next leg is one of my favourites: the Andrássy Avenue. Indeed, it has earned the title “the Champs - Élysées” of Hungary.

Stop At: ALTEREGO, Budapest, Dessewffy u. 33, 1066 Hungary

This is the biggest gay bar of Budapest. The party never stops: you can enjoy a karaoke night and a drag queen show.
