Stop At: Asan, Between Durbar Square and Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal

Asan is the oldest living market of Kathamndu where locals buy and sell goods of daily usage from vegetables to clothing and metal items to spiritual items. We have a saying that at Asan Bazaar, you find things from 'Salt to Gold!'

Stop At: Seto Machhindra Nath Temple, P846+M3H, Siddhidas Marg, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal

It's a native deity of Kathmandu and Tibetan Buddhists, known as Avalokitesvara, or god of compassion the shrine has 108 engraved icons of Avalokitesvara representing all his major forms. Local devotees visit the shrine to receive blessings in hope to fulfill all their wishes.

Stop At: Itum Bahal, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal

Itum Bahal used to be one of the largest Buddhist Monasteries in ancient Kathmandu. The 11th-century monastic complex has a remaining section of the original monastic building and courtyards of goddess Tara and Manjushree. The area also has other monuments nearby. The small museum room in the monastic complex provides visitors with a glimpse of local Newari art, architecture, and spiritual practices.

Stop At: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal

Kathmandu Durbar Square, the 17th century palace of kings of Nepal is a perfect example of Nepali's traditional art and architecture. The Square is surrounded by various temples. The Kumari Temple among them is the house of living goddess Kumari.

Stop At: Kumari Chowk, Durbar Square, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal

Within Kathmandu Durbar Square, home of Kumari the Living goddess is not to miss. The three hundred years old artistic building is a fine example of Nepal's traditional art and architecture. Besides, if lucky, you can see the living goddess who sometimes appears for the audience to the visitors and worshipers from her private chapel on the top floor of the Kumari Temple.

Stop At: Maru Hiti, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal

Maru Hiti, served as main water source for drinking and other purposes in the old Nepal. Still the hiti (water tap) serve as public water tap for the locals. The water tap is surrounded by historic icons of gods and goddesses.

Stop At: Kankeshwari Marg, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal

Kankeshwari, also called Kanga Ajima by local native Newar is one of the very important tantrik temples. The goddess is worshiped both by Hindus and Buddhists.

Stop At: Swayambhunath, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal

From Kankeshwari Temple, short drive on private vehicle will bring you to well known Swayambhu Stupa. Swayambhu is the first holy site of Kathmandu believed to be self emanated from the lake that covered the valley of Kathmandu.

Stop At: Bijeshwari Temple, P872+H7H, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal

From Swayambhu, short walk down to Bijeswari height will bring you to a nice roof top restaurant for the lunch. We encourage you to reflect the morning activities, what you saw and interact among each other and with guide. Tour will conclude here and you will be dropped to respective hotel or places you want to be dropped off.
