Make your Own Ancient Antikythera Mechanism A ... laptop from the antiquity

The tour will start from the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology Kostas Kotsanas.
First, in one hour guided tour you will have the opportunity to experience the technological achievements of Ancient Greeks. Later on in our "Make Your Own Calculating mechanism in Antiquity Workshop", and under the guidance of the Museum’s experts staff, you will solve the “mystery” of telecommunications in Ancient Greece.You will receive 2 gifts.
1st Gift: Everyone will build its own functional part of the Antikythera Mechanism from metal and plexi glass.
2nd Gift: You will receive a functional cardboard Greek (acrophonic) abacus! After the end of the workshop we are moving towards the Parliament (the Old Palace) to observe the change of the Greek Presidential Guard (Evzones).
You will then be guided to the National Garden (next to the Parliament) and walk in its maze-like paths. Our tour ends in Syntagma square the most important square in Modern Greece

Itinerary

You will have the opportunity to experience the technological achievements of Ancient Greeks.in our "Make Your Own Calculating mechanism in Antiquity Workshop", from the “calculator” of Salamina, to the “computer of Antikythera” and under the guidance of the Museum’s experts staff, you will solve the “mystery” of telecommunications in Ancient Greece, discover and operate the worldwide recognized Antikythera Mechanism.
You will have
1st Gift: Everyone will build its own functional part of the Antikythera Mechanism from metal and plexi glass, and use it as a decoration for your favorite place!

2nd Gift: You will receive a functional cardboard Greek (acrophonic) abacus!

After the end of the workshop we are moving towards the Parliament (the Old Palace) to observe the change of the Greek Presidential Guard (the famous Evzones).
You will then be guided to the National Garden (next to the Parliament) and walk in its maze-like paths, discovering archaeological treasures hidden among the plants, and sharing stories under the shade.
