We will be happy to take you on this private tour to the Quilotoa crater lake, a water-filled caldera and the westernmost volcano in Ecuador. In addition we will visit the viewpoint of the lake and make the hike to the lake, we can also observe one of the indigenous fruit and vegetable markets on the way depending on the day of travel, as they are held only on certain days.

a splendid viewpoint of the Toachi river canyon, a short stop but you will enjoy it to the fullest

Stop At: Quilotoa, Quilotoa, Cotopaxi Province

Upon arrival we will first visit the viewpoint, which offers you a stunning view of the 3-kilometre wide greenish lake and surrounding mountains. This will also be the starting point for the adventurous hike downhill towards the lake, which will take about 30 minutes approximately. You can either choose to hike back up for about an hour approximately or rent a mule at the lake.
