Stop At: Melissani Cave, Melissani Lake, Karavomylos, Sami 28080 Greece

Melissani Cave (or Lake, both are accepted) can be called an unreal place. Walk an underground path and discover the place of worship dedicated to Pan and Nympth Melissani. Myths mention that Melissani committed suicide and fell in the lake because Pan was not responding to her feelings for him.

Step into a small boat and take a tour of the cave.

Stop At: Drogarati Cave, Chaliotata 280 80 Greece

A visit to Drogarati Cave will let you admire countless stalactites and stalagmites, formed 150 million years ago.

The acoustic in the cave is fantastic, and it can host up to 500 people. For this reason many concerts are organized in this cave and we can mention 2 important artists, Pavarotti and Maria Callas.

Stop At: Myrtos Beach, Pylaros Ionian Islands, Cephalonia, 280 81 Greece

We can’t end this trip before taking some amazing photos to Myrtos beach, the most famous in Kefalonia.

When driving on the east side of Kefalonia, we will have in front of us the beautiful island of Ithaca.

We will see this beautiful beach from the top too, situated on the West coast of Kefalonia, in Myrtos Bay.
