Guided Half-Day Kayak Tour

This guided kayak tour offers abundant mountain views as well as opportunities for bird watching. Our recreational kayaks on tranquil waters are comfortable for beginners as well as more experienced travelers. With a relaxed and flexible route, there's plenty of time for photo and rest breaks to take in the scenery.

Itinerary

For a fun and relaxing experience, spend 2-3 hours paddling the calm waters of the canoe trail along the Upper Klamath National Wildlife Refuge. A prime birding and fishing location, this tour offers ample opportunities for viewing the area’s flora and fauna. You will take in mountain views as you travel along the west side of Upper Klamath Lake. You will see up close the beautiful, rare Wocus plants that are specific to this region and hold cultural significance to the Klamath and Modoc peoples. Photo stops are highly encouraged!
