The guide of the excursion will explain to you the important period (1866-1913) where Crete liberated from Turkish enslavement and gained its independence. You will tour in locations where took place important facts for the liberation of the island, like the monastery of Arkadi and you will travel in traditional villages where lived political and religious factors of this place. Subsequently, you’ll explore a great cave 270 meters long in the earth and you’ll be directed in a farm, on the foothills of Psiloritis, for the eco-tourism experience. (Milk and shear the sheeps, curdle the milk, cooking of local foods and of course a rich traditional meal and wine…) – be a part of Cretan life !!
