This trip is completely unique, a fantastic nature which is almost untouched, Saksun which once was a natural harbor of another world. and Tjørnuvík where most people who come there do not understand that anyone has settled there, but it is fantastically beautiful with the sea to one side and mountains to all other sides

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Saksun Church, Yviri vid Strond 1, Streymoy 100 Faroe Islands

We drive through Sundalagið north to Hvalvík where we come to the fantastically beautiful valley "Saksunardalur" that leads us to Saksun

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Saksun 436, Faroe Islands

We visit the picturesque settlement, and are allowed to see the church that was carried over the mountain from Tjørnuvík, and the old farmhouse Dúvugarðar

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Fossa, Bakkavegur, Streymoy 177 Faroe Islands

On the way to Eiði we take a photo stop so we can see the wonderful double waterfall Fossá. The stop lasts for approx 10 min.

Duration: 35 minutes

Stop At: Eidi, Eidi, Eysturoy

On viewpoint Eiði, we take a photo stop and here we have the opportunity to go to the toilet. The stop will last for arround 15 min.

Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Risin and Kellingin, Eysturoy Faroe Islands

We continue to photostop Risin and Kellingin, here we make a stop of approx. 5 min

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Gjogv, Gjogv, Eysturoy

As we drive from Risin and Kellingin, we continue towards Gjógv and pass the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands "Slættaratindur"

Duration: 15 minutes

Gjógv is a village located on the northeast tip of the island of Eysturoy. We see the amazing gorge (nature harbor) and take a walk around the old village.

We will find a beautifull place to enjoy our packed lunch

Stop At: Elduvik, Elduvik, Eysturoy

Elduvík is a traditional village in the unspoiled Faroe Islands located on Eysturoy Island. The houses stand as if they had been dropped from the sky and found their place by chance.

Elduvík offers you a variety of charming yards, paths, steps, and ledges. People seeking the opposite of modern straightness will find pleasure here. The visit lasts about 20 minutes

Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Oyndarfjørður, Faroe Islands

Oyndarfjørður is one of the oldest Faroese settlements. Written sources from the 14th century tell that the settlement was also a larger settlement further back in time. At the beach below the village are the two Rinkusteinarnir (rock stones), which are set in motion by the waves. The visit will last for arround 20 min

Stop At: Torshavn, Torshavn, Streymoy

On the way from Oyndarfjørður to Tórshavn we will make one or two photo stops

Duration: 55 minutes
