Summer Tour to the Northern Islands and Tjornuvik

Viðareiði is in the Northern region and the northernmost village in the Faroe Islands. Visiting Viðareiði on Viðoy island is always rewarding.

Klaksvík is the fishing capital of the Faroe Islands and here it will be possible to try the Faroes Fish and chips in the local bakery. We will drive on to Gjógv to see the fantastic gorge and further to Tjørnuvík where we can enjoy the amazing view of Risin and Kellingin

Stop At: Vidareidi, Vidareidi, Vidoy Island

You will meet our fantastic guide at pick up, the guide will tell you about all the incredible things you will see, and you will be followed all the way until you are back in Tórshavn. Including driving, the trip up to Viðareiði takes approx. 1h 30m

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Klaksvik, Klaksvik, Bordhoy

Klaksvík is the fishing capital of the Faroe Islands and here it will be possible to try the Faroes Fish and chips in the local bakery

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Christianskirkjan, Kirkjubreka, Klaksvik, Bordhoy Faroe Islands

Stop At: Gjogv, Gjogv, Eysturoy

We will drive on to Gjógv to see the fantastic gorge and the amazing little settlement

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Risin and Kellingin, Eysturoy Faroe Islands

On the way to Tjørnuvík we can see Risin and Kellingin from the east side and it is a completely different view than you get from Tjørnuvík.

Stop At: Tjornuvik, Tjornuvik, Streymoy

Tjørnuvík where we can enjoy the amazing view of Risin and Kellingin from west.

Stop At: Fossa, Bakkavegur, Streymoy 177 Faroe Islands

We drive from Tjørnuvík towards Tórshavn where we pass the fantastic double waterfall Fossá

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Torshavn, Torshavn, Streymoy

We take a little photoshop over Tórshavn where we look over basically the whole city and over to Nólsoy which is the island just outside the city. In (How much time do travelers typically spend here) driving time is included
