This short tour makes for a great 3-day escape from Quito. On the way, we’ll make a stop at the Quilotoa Lagoon, an unbelievable turquoise lake in the caldera of an active volcano. Once in Baños, you’ll enjoy a number of wonderful activities set against a beautiful backdrop of waterfalls and tropical greenery.

Itinerary

Day 1: Full Day Cotopaxi Tour With Overnight Stay

Stop At: Chuquiragua Lodge, C937+P3G, El chaupi, Ecuador
We'll arrive at the Chuquiragua Lodge and catch your first views of the stunning Cotopaxi Volcano, one of the country’s most famous sights.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Laguna de Limpiopungo, Latacunga Ecuador
We'll hike to the Limpiopungo Lagoon, a stunning glacial lake in the shadow of the Cotopaxi Volcano.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Cotopaxi, Ecuador
Visit the José Rivas Refuge, the main base camp for the volcano. Continue to a scenic lookout point to take in some unbelievable panoramic views of the Cotopaxi Volcano.

Day 2: Quilotoa and Baños With Overnight Stay

Stop At: Canon del Rio Toachi, Kilometros Del Canton Sigchos 10, Pujili 050450 Ecuador
Bus ride and visit the Toachi Canyon
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Quilotoa, Quilotoa, Cotopaxi Province
Walk to Quilotoa Shalala View Point.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: La Casa del Arbol, Calle Pastaza, y, Banos 010151 Ecuador
Visit the swing at the end of the world.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 3: Full Day Baños Tour And Return to Quito

Stop At: CASCADA EL PAILON del Diablo, De Septiembre Rio Verde 11, Banos 180301 Ecuador
We'll visit the stunning Pailon del Diablo (Devil’s Cauldron) waterfall. You'll have the chance to ride a cable car over the Pastaza River and experience one of the most extraordinary sights you’ve ever seen, with 360 degree views of waterfalls, mountains, and beautiful jungle landscapes.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Baños, Banos, Ecuador
You can spend the rest of the day exploring Baños or taking part in one of the many exciting activities on otherer. Options include: city tours, quad bike rentals, canyoning, rafting and many more.

Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Quito, Quito, Pichincha Province
Return to Quito with spectacular viewing stops.
Duration: 7 hours
