Day 2: Sigiriya-Anuradhapura-Mihintale Stop At: Anuradhapura Stupas Scenic Point, Baswakkulama Rd, Anuradhapura 50000 Sri Lanka
you will be visiting Anuradhapura, the city is founded in the 5 century BC archeological data puts that date back to far as the 10 century BC. However, it was King Pandukabhaya who planned the layout of the city and made it his capital in the 4th century BC. He constructed many reservoirs and shrines. The city reached its highest magnificence by the beginning of the Christian era. The city boasted some of the most complex irrigation systems in the ancient world. Day 3: Sigiriya- Polonnaruwa -Minneriya nationalStop At: Polonnaruwa Vatadage, Sacred City, Polonnaruwa Sri Lanka
You will be able to see the ruins of Royal Palace king Parakramabahu, Audience Hall, the statue of King Parakramabahu, Watadage, the Galpotha, Parakrama Samudraya (Sea of Parakrama) which was built by King Parakramabahu I, covers an area of 5940 acres and the elegant Lotus pond was built in 12th century.The Gal Vihara also known as Gal Viharaya, is a rock temple of the Buddha situated in the ancient city of Polonnaruwa in north-central Sri Lanka. It was constructed in the 12th century by Parakramabahu 0I. The central feature of the shrine is four images of the Buddha, which have been carved into the face of a large granite rock. The images consist of a large seated figure, another, smaller seated figure inside an artificial cavern, and standing figure and a reclining figure. These are considered to be some of the best examples of ancient Sinhalese sculpting and carving arts, and have made the Gal Vihara one of the most visited monuments in Polonnaruwa.

Day 4: Sigiriya-Matale- Kandy Stop At: Kandy District, Kandy District, Central Province

Sigiriya is treated as one of the most remarkable creations in the world, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). A path through the gardens along Stone stairways comes to the Lion Gate. Only the rock carving and the brick structure is evident today of the lion’s mouth through which millions of people have walked to admire the beauty of this magnificent citadel.
