Coachella Valley Cooking Class with Locals in their Home

Join your hosts Jonathan and Alex in their Coachella Valley home for a cooking demonstration and in-home meal. Experience life in the Coachella Valley and cuisine that reflects a mix of cultures as you cook their favorite Mediterranean/Italian recipes and eat a delicious meal prepared by a trained chef and his wife over wine or beer. This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local to enjoy culture and cuisine. Join Chef Jonathan and Alex at their home for your Coachella cooking demonstration! Over a welcome drink peruse and discuss Jonathan's thoughtfully prepared menu and recipes for the day. Then join the couple in their kitchen for a 4-course Italian or Mediterranean cooking demonstration and meal. During your two-hour culinary journey, you will watch Jonathan prepare three dishes - a salad, soup or appetizer, and a main. Alex is in charge of desserts and will show you how she prepares a light and creamy tiramisu or decadent cheesecake! You will enjoy your food in courses at the large kitchen table as Jonathan and Alex prepare your four-course meal. Please note this is not a hands-on cooking class. It is a cooking demonstration - you will watch and learn the culinary tips, tricks and techniques Jonathan has acquired over the years working in kitchens. Your experience includes wine or beer.
