If ever there was a town which has escaped the ravages of development and succeeded in keeping its original character, Vittoriosa is the place.
Meet your guide at the ferry landing, Cospicua side and proceed on a guided walking tour to discover Vittoriosa, the most important of the 3 Cities.
Pretty and quaint alleys will not fail to delight you as you walk through the old town where the knights settled when they came to Malta in 1530. The historic center is characterised by winding streets, replete with buildings erected by the knights shortly after their arrival. Vittoriosa is also a harbour town and its city walls offer fascinating views of the Grand Harbour.
Stop along the city's main square to savor a traditional Maltese platter and a glass of wine/ beer like a true local and taste some of the island typical jams and liquors.
Tour will end along the harbour area from where you can get a gondola ride to discover the Grand Harbour or head to Valletta.

Stop At: Vittoriosa Waterfront - Birgu Waterfront, Xatt II - Forn, Island of Malta Malta

Meet your guide at the ferry landing Cospicua side. The guide will give an intoduction to the history of the 3 Cities.
You will then proceed on a walking tour of Vittoriosa/ Birgu, the most historical and the first city of the Knight of Malta, towards the 3 fortified gates of this medieval town and you will discover together this charming town.

Pass By: Collachio, 19 Triq Hilda Tabone, Birgu, Malta

The Knights embarked on the construction onof new admisistrative Buildings, including the Holy Infirmary, the Arsenals, the court, prisons and Auberges to accomodate the Knights

Stop At: Vittoriosa Waterfront - Birgu Waterfront, Xatt II - Forn, Island of Malta Malta

Stop along the town square to taste a local platter and chat over a glass of beer/ wine. We will also sample typical local jams, prickly pear , pomegrnate jam and local nougat
