Guided Sensory Forest Experience in Whistler

Escape and refresh yourself in an immersive nature experience. Your Guide, Cara, will help you observe more deeply into the forest's atmosphere. As your senses tune into the present moment time will slow down. Remove the stresses of life and creating space to notice the beauty and light filtering around you. Select which healing plant to add to your tea from along the path. Learn about owls, lichen, salmon, bears, mycelium and more while the sound from glacier streams move relaxing frequencies through the fresh air.

Whether it's your first time becoming comfortable in nature or nature has become as familiar as an old friend, each session is uniquely inspired to help you enjoy being alive and outside.

Itinerary

Itinerary:
• You'll walk from the bridge across from the PassivHaus, along the valley Trail to the start of the Fitzsimmons Accessible Nature Trail (5min)
• Introductions (5 min)
• Observational Walk with occasional stops along the way (30-40 min)
- 800 meter gravel walk includes
+ interpretive panels
+ a rich landscape of diverse ecosystems
+ a pond
+ mountain views
+ a glacier fed stream
+ a grove of ancient cedars
+ a quiet, wide, and relatively flat gravel trail
• Tea with a Tree Ceremony (10 min)
• Meditative moment (~10 min)
- choose what you want to do
+ sit in silence
+ journal or draw your nature reflections
• Walk Back (800 m, 10 min)
- to end our tour we'll walk and chat till we end up where we first met
