Tour with us through Houghton, a stunning suburb past Mandela's house to the Munro Drive, here we have the scenic view of the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg. Experience the world's largest man made subtropical forest.

2 hours (Apartheid Museum)
Explore the museum on a self guided tour at your leisure until it’s time to depart. There are 22 individual exhibition areas that showcase different time periods under brutal apartheid rule. The exhibits are well done and they include provocative film footage, photographs, text panels and artefacts illustrating the events and human stories that showcase a turbulent period in South Africa during the apartheid era.

40 min (driving to Soweto)
Drive through Diepkloof and learn about general life of the people living in a township.
A drive past Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
A drive past Orlando Towers and get a chance to explore a shanty town.

20 min (Mandela House)
A site guide will welcome you with a
short introduction and take you on a guided of tour of this Museum, a priceless house once a home to the icon Nelson Mandela. You will get a chance to take as many pictures as you can from the inside and the of the house.

20 min (walk on Vilakazi Street)
Get to explore Vilakazi Street where two Noble Peace Price winners Desmond Tutu and Mandela once lived.
Enjoy a welcoming traditional dance on the street.
An Optional lunch can enjoyed at Sakhumzi or 1947 restaurant within the 5 hours of this tour

40 min (Hector Peterson Museum)
A Museum chronicling the 1976 student uprising and named after it's first victim a 12 year old boy Hector Peterson.

30 min (driving back to Hotel)
At the end of the tour you will be dropped back at your hotel or at the airport
