Cartography Hiking Activity about Mont Blanc

We all love hiking, but this one is different because will bring you the knowledge to navigate anywhere in the world. Don't just hike, know at any moment where
you are, what is in front of you, and which direction to take. It is a fun and healthy addiction.

Itinerary

INTRODUCTION: We start with a short introduction about the itinerary for today. We open our maps (maps provided) and learn the first cartography basics. Today our goal is you to get more information about the surroundings and get you started navigating with ease through the mountainous terrain. The photos you see here are the mountains you’ll see while hiking.

ACTION: We take the Flegere cable car to the top where is our starting point. We will navigate towards Brevent mountain with a breathtaking view over the Mont-Blanc chain. You will learn how to find out the names of the peaks we have in front of us while learning about history and amazing stories about climbers.
THE FINISH. We are finishing our hiking with drinks at Brevent Cable car. The hike is about 3h.
