The 1900 Storm is still considered to be the worst natural disaster to ever happen in the US. 3600 homes and businesses were destroyed in one night! The East End Historic District is the neighborhood with the most homes that survived the storm. This walking tour will explore the neighborhood passing by those historic homes as stories of the storm are told.

Our tour guide will meet you at Darragh Park in Galveston's Beautiful East End Historic District and will guide you on a walking tour of the residential area telling stories about the 1900 storm and pointing out the homes that withstood the storm.
