In the mid afternoon , join your guide to visit the magnificent temples of Amon-Ra at Karnak, dating back over 3,000 years.It,s the largest religious temple ever built by man ,where generation of pharaohs wished to record their names . Walk along the avenue of the Sphinxes and marvel at the Hypostyle Hall with its 137 massive sandstone columns .

Proceed to Luxor Temple ,built by by Amenhotep III as a settinfg for the annual Opet festival .He erected an avenue of Sphnixes linking the temple of karnak and Luxor . Admire the colossal statues of the great pharaoh Ramses II and one of the original pair of pink-granite obelisks that stood here, while the other stands in the Place de la Concorde in Paris .

Day 2: The West bank of the Nile + valley of kingsStop At: Valley of the Kings, Luxor City, Luxor 85511 Egypt
on this morning’ view the magnificence of the Luxor West Bank and immerse yourself in Ancient Egypt where the magical tombs of the pharaohs hold the secrets of the past. Begin with a visit to the UNESCO listed Valley of the Kings, the necropolis of Thebes,where sixty two ancient Egyptian rulers are buried here, including Ramses VI and Tutankhamen .

Stop At: Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, Kings Valley Rd Deir el-Bahari, Luxor 23512 Egypt
Head to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, at El Deir El Bahari, Egypt’s longest-reigning female ruler. The terraced temple (built c. 1470 BCE), One of the most impressive sights on the West Bank and different to most other temples in Egypt. Beautifully located at the foot of the mountain.

Stop At: Colossi of Memnon, Thebes, Luxor Egypt
he two great statues known as the Colossi of Memnon, which once flanked the gateway in front of the temple pylon but now sit like lonely sentinels in the middle of a field. The statues represent Amenhotep III (reigned 1390–53 BCE ) but the name Memnon is of (later) Greek origin; with their crowns the statues were about 70 feet (21 meters) high, each.

Day 3: Edfu + kom omboStop At: Temple of Horus, Adfo, Edfu Egypt
After breakfast and a leisurely morning onboard, you’ll join your guide to explore the falcon-headed Horus temple .Edfu (Behdet) is a major Ptolemaic temple located on the west bank of the Nile between Aswan and Luxor. The temple was built between 237 BC to 57 BC .Yet despite its later date, it exactly reflects traditional pharaonic architecture and so provides an excellent idea of how all the temples once looked.It is the best preserved cult temple in all of Egypt and ranks second behind Karnak, simply because of its immense size ,intricate details and rich design .

Stop At: Temple of Kom Ombo, Nagoa Ash Shatb, Kom Ombo 81611 Egypt
Return to ship and enjoy lunch onboard ,throughout cruising the Nile ,enjoy the passing scenery either in the air conditioning lounge or on deck .Following afternoon tea step off to visit the temple kom ombo .The temple is unusual in that it is a double temple, with one side dedicated to the god Haroesis (the falcon-headed God Horus) and the other side to the fearsome (crocodile God Sobek ) The design is almost perfectly symmetrical, with two side-by-side sanctuaries and two parallel passageways leading through the outer parts of the temple.

Day 4: High Dam + Philae Temple + Unfinished ObeliskStop At: Aswan High Dam, Manteqet As Sad Al Aali, Aswan Egypt
Join your guide and start your journey by visiting the High Dam ,a marvel of engineering when it was constructed. Originally built for irrigation and against drought and flooding. The dam displaced over 100,000 Nubians and was part of a major relocation project for archaeological sites under the UNESCO Nubia Campaign

Stop At: Temple of Philae, Island of Agilika, Aswan Egypt
Ride a motorized boat to Philae Temple on the island of Agilika. This temple dedicated to the goddess Isis and reflects three of the great civilizations — Egyptian, Greek and Roman.The original island is now completely submerged under the waters of Lake Nasser. But in a spectacular rescue operation, the great temples and monuments of Philae were pulled out of the water and re-erected on a nearby island, now renamed Philae.

Stop At: Unfinished Obelisk, Sheyakhah Oula, Aswan Egypt
Stop at the stone quarries to explore the unfinished obelisk, lies abandoned in the bedrock. It is the largest known ancient obelisk Illustrating the skills of Egypt’s stonemasons. Marks from workers’ tools are still clearly visible on the bedrock.
