4-Day Highland and Isle of Skye Tour

This 4-Day tour will start from Glasgow. We will head to Inverness with a few stops along the way for photo opportunities including Loch Lomond and Glen Coe. Day 2 will start in Inverness, we will do some sightseeing on our way to the Isle of Skye including Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns, Eilean Donan Castle & more. Day 3 we will do some sightseeing on the Isle of Skye and visit Talisker Distillery & Dunvegan Castle. Day 4 we will leave the Isle of Skye and travel back to Glasgow with some stops along including Pitlochry & Stirling Castle. All days can be amended to your requirements.

Itinerary

Day 1: Glasgow to Inverness

Stop At: Glencoe, Glencoe, Scottish Highlands, Scotland
We will briefly stop in order for you to take some photographs of the three sisters of Glencoe.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Fort Augustus, Fort Augustus, Loch Ness Region, Scottish Highlands, Scotland
Here you will have the opportunity to take a cruise of Loch Ness and might even catch a glimpse of Nessie.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Urquhart Castle, A82, Drumnadrochit IV63 6XJ Scotland
You will have the opportunity to visit Urquhart Castle is £14.50 per person to enter (correct at time of publishing).
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Inverness, Inverness, Scottish Highlands, Scotland
Inverness is the largest city and the cultural capital of the Scottish Highlands. The tour will end here.

Day 2: Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns & Isle of Skye

Stop At: Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre, Culloden Moor IV2 5EU Scotland
On 16 April 1746, the final Jacobite Rising came to a brutal head. Admission to the Visitor Centre is £16 per person (correct at time of publishing)

Stop At: Clava Cairns, Balnuaran of Clava, IV2 5EU Scotland
Clava Cairns are a group of three Bronze Age cairns located near Inverness.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Eilean Donan Castle, Kyle of Lochalsh IV40 8DX Scotland

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Pass By: Portree, Portree, Isle of Skye, The Hebrides, Scotland
Portree is classified as the capital of the Isle of Skye. This is a small fishing village and looks onto the Sound of Raasay. We will stay on the Isle of Skye.

Day 3: Isle of Skye

Stop At: Talisker Distillery, Carbost IV47 8SR Scotland
The oldest working distillery on the Isle of Skye is set on the shores of Loch Harport with dramatic views of the Cuillins. Producing an alluring, sweet, full-bodied single malt. Entry Fee £15 per person (correct at time of publishing)
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Dunvegan Castle & Gardens, Dunvegan House MacLeod Estate, Dunvegan IV55 8WF Scotland
Dunvegan Castle is the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland and has been the ancestral home of the Chiefs of clan MacLeod for 800 years. Entry Fee £16.50 per person (correct at time of publishing)

Day 4: Isle of Skye to Glasgow

Stop At: Pitlochry, Pitlochry, Perth and Kinross, Scotland
Pitlochry is a town in the county of Perthshire in Scotland, lying on the River Tummel. It remains a popular tourist resort today and is particularly known for its Pitlochry Festival Theatre & salmon ladder.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Stirling Castle, Castle Esplanade Upper Castle Hill, Old Town, Stirling FK8 1EJ Scotland
Clients will be given time to enter Stirling Castle and undertake a tour. Castle Entry is approx. £19.50 (correct at time of publishing).
