Koggala, nestled on Sri Lanka's southern coast, captivates with its serene beaches, vibrant fishing community, and lush greenery. The picturesque Koggala Lake, dotted with islands, offers tranquil boat rides. Visitors can explore historic sites like the Martin Wickramasinghe Folk Museum to delve into the area's rich cultural heritage.

You will be starting your tour from Koggala at 10:30 am. Your chauffeur will be picking you up from your hotel and driving you to Bundala.

Bundala National Park Lies in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka, as part of a large group of national parks and sanctuaries on the Southern - Southeastern coast. It was designated a wildlife sanctuary in 1969 and became a national park in 1993. It later became the first of four Ramsar Wetlands in Sri Lanka and was declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2005.
Bundala’s relatively small area of just over 3500 hectares, is densely packed with 5 brackish water lagoons, salt flats, marshlands, shrubby thorn forests, mangrove forests and other habitat types. Between the months of May - July, especially, these habitats become the nesting and breeding grounds of thousands of migratory birds.
This ecological paradise has nearly 400 species of plants, around 200 species of birds - 58 of which are migratory, 32 species of mammals, 48 species of reptiles, 15 species of amphibians, 32 species of fish, and 52 species of butterflies.
