9 Days Adventure And Wildlife Safari
This Gorilla Trek Uganda & Wildlife Safari takes you to Jinja Town located in south-eastern Uganda about 87 km from Kampala City. It is where the source of the River Nile is located about 2 km from the Jinja Town.
The safari will continue to the Murchison Falls National Park, the largest national park in Uganda, renowned for its scenic beauty and the spectacular falls from which it derives its name. The sight and sound of the falls as the Mighty Nile River crashes through a 7-meter gorge before tumbling 40 meters down in a thunderous explosion makes a memorable assault on the senses. You will enjoy memorable game drives, a boat cruise and viewing of the mesmerizing scenery in this national park.
This safari will take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will see abundant bio-diversity of wildlife, amazing picturesque scenery and to enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel with awesome opportunities to spot water birds and animals basking on the shores.
ItineraryDay 1: DAY 1: ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO ACCOMMODATIONStop At: Entebbe Botanic Gardens, Berkely Rd, Entebbe Uganda
On your arrival in Entebbe, you will be welcomed and transferred by a representative of Ssemambo Tours to your place of accommodation. You will spend an overnight here and get a briefing of the tour.

Day 2: DAY 2: TRANSFER TO JINJA – SOURCE OF THE NILE TOURStop At: Source of the Nile - Speke Monument, Bukaya Njeru, Jinja 7675 Uganda
Our guide will pick you at 7.00am from where you are residing and drive you to Jinja in the eastern part of the country. You will have a brief stopover at Mabira Forest, the largest remaining tropical forest in Central Uganda and continue to the source of the Nile in Jinja. You will explore the source of the Nile by boat and later have a brief drive through this historical town before heading to your accommodation.

Day 3: DAY 3: DRIVE TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARKStop At: Rhino Fund Uganda, Gulu Highway Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Nakitoma Uganda
After an early breakfast, we will set off for the tranquil Murchision Falls National Park. You will have a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for a rhino tracking experience and then after head for lunch. You will thereafter transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and checkin at your lodge where you will spend the night.

Day 4: DAY 4: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISEStop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Western Region
After breakfast, proceed for a game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, giving you a great chance of seeing animals such as giraffes, elephants, lions, hartebeests and different species of birds. After Lunch, the safari will be continued with a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to the base of the tranquill Murchison Falls. Look out for the Nile crocodile, hippos, water bucks and a variety of bird species. Upon reaching the bottom of the waterfalls you will disembark and climb your way up to the Top of the Falls where you will be rewarded with amazing views of the falls. After return to your beautiful lodge, and enjoy the good night`s rest.

Day 5: DAY 5: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK – TO QUEEN ELIZABETH.Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
After an early morning breakfast, you will check out and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda. You will have packed lunch en route and then proceed for an evening game drive en route to your lodge where you will check in and spend the night.

Day 6: DAY 6: CHIMP TREKKING IN KYAMBURA AND EVENING GAME DRIVE.Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
Morning Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge where you will be allowed to have a fascinating encounter with the chimpanzees. Later you will return to the lodge for your early lunch and then head out for an evening game drive in the Ishasha sector in search for tree climbing lions. Other game to see include elephants, gazelles, waterbucks, buffaloes, hippos among others. Relax at your lodge for the overnight.

Day 7: DAY 7: MORNING LAUNCH CRUISE AND TRANSFER TO BWINDIStop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Western Region
After an early morning breakfast, proceed directly to the head of the Mweya Peninsular to conduct a launch trip on the Kazinga Channel which is home to one of the largest concentrations of hippopotamus, as well as herds of elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife that come to drink from the river. The Kazinga also attracts a tremendous variety of bird species including the African Eagle, Open-Billed Stork, and Pied Kingfishers. Thanks to the abundant bird life that is sighted, and the elephants, buffaloes and hundreds of hippos that are cooling off at the shores, this cruise will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari. After the boat cruise, you will head for an evening game drive and enjoy the stunning sceneries over the Albertine rift escarpment, the beautiful savannah grasslands and have a possible dip in the pool. You will have packed lunch and then transfer to your lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will spend the night as you wait to track the forest gentles the following morning.

Day 8: DAY 8: GORILLA TREKKINGStop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Western Region
The most exciting day of your safari! The briefing is at 8 am and you will learn about gorilla etiquette. Then you will start walking and hiking in the impenetrable forest until you find the gorillas. For one hour, you are allowed to watch those majestic giants! Depending on the duration of the track you can either relax in the afternoon at the lodge and just enjoy the view or go for a walk around and explore the village or walk up to the highest football field with the best view ever. Also today, you will carry a packed lunch.

Day 9: DAY 9: TRANSFER BACK TO ENTEBBE.Stop At: Uganda Equator, Masaka Road, Kayabwe Uganda
