Cooking Session "Pelion Flavours"

An exploration into Pelion’s gastronomy where travellers looking for authentic flavours, can learn the secrets of our local cuisine. Prepare a special meal and enjoy it on the beautiful balcony of our kitchen lab.

We know that for most travellers, tasting authentic local food is at the top of their things-to-do list. To share our own love for all the special flavours of Pelion, we created a cooking experience made up of the recipes we love the most.

Itinerary

Starting with a traditional welcome drink, this 3-hour experience takes place at our kitchen lab, which is located on a hill overlooking the beach of Chorefto. There, a local cook will guide you on a journey through some of the most authentic flavours of this part of Greece.

In this session, you will learn how we make our creamy cheese “galotiri” and our ancient comfort food “trahana” and turn wild greens and eggs into a mouthwatering main course. You will also make the filling for zucchini flowers, a popular summer delicacy and finish off with a dessert pie made out of pumpkin.
