This morning we will begin our Seoul City tour at the beautiful Gyeongbokgung Palace to experience the most representative edifices of the Joseon Dynasty (more than 500 years old). Afterward, visit the National Folk Museum to learn about Korea’s unique culture and how Koreans used to live in the olden days. Continuing onwards we will enjoy a quick stop to witness the Traditional Royal Guard Changing Ceremony and the Presidential Blue House before arriving at the famous Bukchon Hanok Village.

Bukchon Hanok Village is a Korean traditional village in Seoul with a long history located on the top of a hill between Gyeongbok Palace, Changdeok Palace, and Jongmyo Royal Shrine. The traditional village is composed of many alleys, hanok and is preserved to show a 600-year-old urban environment. Here you will enjoy a guided walk and marvel at the beautiful traditional homes.

Finish the day with some time at leisure at the Dongdaemun open market which is the largest open market in the Orient. Dongdaemun Market is a large commercial district of traditional markets and shopping centers that covers the entire area around Dongdaemun Gate, a prominent landmark in Korea. It is Korea’s largest wholesale and retail shopping district, featuring 26 shopping malls, 30,000 specialty shops, and 50,000 manufacturers.

Day 3: Seoul -DMZ - SuwonStop At: DMZ, Munsan-eup, Majeong-ri Imjingak Tourist information center, Paju, Gyeonggi-do South Korea
The highlight of today’s tour is the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone).

Located on each side of the 38th parallel, this infamous border was established at the end of the war in 1953 at the signing of Panmunjom’s armistice in order to separate North and South Korea.
Upon arrival, proceed to passport security control followed by a short introduction at the United Nations camp.
Visit Dora Observatory and Dorasan railway station. Discover Imjingak Park with the Memorial, the Liberty Bridge, and the bell of unification. Late morning, visit the 3rd tunnel dug into the rock at a depth of 73m and able of moving a full division per hour with their weapons.

Day 4: Suwon - Gayasan National Park - Temple StayStop At: Hwaseong, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do
This morning, we visit Suwon Hwaseong fortress, it is the best of Korean traditional architecture designated as a World cultural heritage by UNESCO. In other words, Haenggung, meaning detached palace, is a palace built within the walls of Hwaseong to house King Jeongjo when he was away from his palace in Seoul worshipping at his father's tomb. When he was not in residence it was used by his delegated official as a base of government. The palace was built in 1789, but was expanded between 1794 and 1796 to house 600 compartments and in doing so became the largest haenggung in Korea.

After lunch, we transfer to Haeinsa Temple, This temple was built in 802 by two monks is listed today as World Heritage by UNESCO. It protects the Tripitaka Koreana, with 80000 printing plates containing Buddhist scriptures, 15 national treasures, and some 200 private treasures. Enjoy an unforgettable experience of the temple stay. Some activities include Buddhist ceremony meals, an introduction to Zen meditation, and a tea ceremony.

transfer to Gyeongju and visit Yangdong Village, Korea’s largest traditional village, showcasing the traditional culture of the Joseon Dynasty and the beautiful natural surroundings. Thanks to its many cultural heritages, including treasures, national treasures, and folklore materials, the entire village has been designated as a cultural heritage site. Many people have visited this village to see its wealth of cultural heritage and scenic surroundings. Charles, Prince of Wales, visited this village in 1993.

This morning, We start the city tour, Gyeongju Historic Areas were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. The protected areas encompass the ruins of temples and palaces, outdoor pagodas and statuary, and other cultural artifacts left by the Silla Kingdom. The historic areas are also known as one of the largest outdoor museums in the world.

Bulguksa Temple is a representative relic of Buddhist culture from the Silla kingdom. The temple was built during the 15th year of King Beopheung's reign (514-540) to wish for peace and prosperity for all. It was later rebuilt in 751 by Kim Dae-seong. Unfortunately, the temple caught fire during the Imjin War (1592-1598). After the war, the temple suffered serious damage and was often the target of theft.
Starting in 1920, the temple has undergone continual restoration work. The temple now holds seven national treasures, a number of additional important heritages, and was designated a World Cultural Heritage Site along with the nearby Seokguram Grotto by UNESCO in December 1995.

Seokguram Grotto was constructed by Kim Dae-Seong during the reign of King Gyeong-Deok (742-765) of the Silla Kingdom. Located 3 kilometers away by a hiking trail and 9 kilometers by car from Bulguksa Temple, the grotto was designed very harmoniously with the seated Buddha facing the East Sea. It is a valuable cultural heritage that is preserved and registered as a UNESCO World Heritage on December 6, 1995.

Within Daereungwon Tomb Complex is Cheonmachong Tomb (Ancient Tomb No. 155), which was excavated in 1973. Cheonmachong Tomb consists of a wooden coffin placed inside an underground chamber mounded with boulders and earth, characterized as a typical upper class tomb of the Silla period. The mound has a height of 12.7 m with a diameter of 50 m, and consists of a layer of rocks collected from streams. Below the rock layer is a wooden chamber that is 6.5 m long and 2.1 m wide, reaching 2.1 m in height, with the wooden coffin at its center. A total of 11,526 artifacts were discovered within the tomb, including Cheonmado, an artwork considered highly valuable as it is Korea's first artwork to be excavated from an ancient tomb.

Today, we will depart for the airport and fly to Busan, South Korea's second-largest city after Seoul. It is also the largest port city in South Korea and the world's fifth busiest seaport by cargo tonnage.

Haeundae Beach is also famous for various cultural events and festivals held throughout the year.
