We drove 2h from Flagstaff to Horseshoe Bend, our guide Maggy succeed to talk during all this time to make the trip not boring. Explaining about what we see along the way : Montain's name, Volcanos and old eruption, geologic formation, forest fire that creates the current panorama, but also geopolitic fact with Indians reserves.
Maggie drop us at Horseshoe bend recreation area for 1hour free tour.
Then we drove (30min) untill lake Powell Dam where we had lunch with what GCA team prepared us sandwiches, salad, strawberries, and other snacks and drinks.
About another 30min drive brought us to Low pass Antelope canyon "Ken's Tour", we were merge with other groups to be about 10 people following an Indian guide 'Brian', very smart guy showing us the differents shapes : shark head, bear head, woman in the wind that water sculpt into the canyon. Visit is 1hour long but very nice.
regarding time and opportunities you will also have a look at Cameron's tradding post to do shopping into some Indian's handmade workshop.

Mat, our tour guide, was very good at explaining the geology of the land to and from Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. He kept things interesting on the reservation, with his knowledge of the tribes. He also let us know what to expect at horseshoe bend and antelope canyon. Overall it was a great experience.

Really great day out from Flagstaff to Horseshoe Bend, Glen Dam and Antelope Canyon. The guide, John, was excellent - lots of local knowledge for the ride up. All three stops were superb, with the best saved til last. Had enough time to take way too many pictures of the stunning rock formations.

Tour company 5-star ! Our Guide was incredibly knowledgeable and very entertaining. Van was stocked with snacks, water and a very good lunch. The tours start from Flagstaff, so be prepared for a long drive. This is why we appreciated a great guide: she knew the area, history of the land and had much knowledge of the Native Americans - making the drive pleasant. The Guide who took us into Antelope Canyon WAS AWESOME !! A Navajo Indian with a great personality and excellent skills with phone cameras. He helped me take photos I never would have been skilled enough to take. Note that you will be descending VERY steep steps to get into the Canyon. They are very strict about no backpacks/buttpacks and must carry only plastic water bottles. Breathtaking !!!

We had perfect weather for our tour and it was "the best day ever!". Our tour guide, Drew, who freelances with Grand Canyon Tours, was full of information regarding Arizona terrain, native American culture, canyon and Colorado River facts. It made the driving portion of the tour pass quickly. Lunch was at Glen Canyon Dam (similar design to Hoover Dam). Sandwiches were good and fresh, salad and fruit as well as snacks and water were provided. The landscape of Horseshoe Bend was very interesting, but then Antelope Canyon was just indescribable. Even though I had seen pictures of it, being in the slot canyon was just amazing. On the surface you have no idea that this "world" exists below. Our Navajo guide, TJ, was an expert photographer, able to get the most interesting angles and taking photos of everyone so you can show your friends and family that you were there! Would definitely recommend this tour!

There is a bit of wait at Antelope Canyon with the volume of tourists. But the astounding walk through the canyon was worth the wait. Our guide was very knowledgeable, he even assisted us on camera settings to capture the colors of the canyon. It would be best to listen to the guides and follow instructions to avoid unnecessary delays within the group and the groups behind you.

The hike to Horshoe Bend is a bit strenuous, especially during summer. Our guide was very helpful and making sure we were well. The view was breathtaking quite literally!.

He was so nice and definitely well versed on the area. The sites were uniquely breathtaking! They are both places that should be on the bucket list!! The photos came out awesome! It was a long day but spaced out nicely with the stops. The lunch and snacks were good, too! :

Rob was an exceptional and knowledgeable tour guide. He also was a safe and cautious driver. The tour started off with a 3 hour drive to Page, AZ. Rob was giving us a history about the Navajo owned land. Very informative. When we got the upper canyon of the antelope, we waited for our permits. We then embarked on a truck with Nina, our tour guide. Make sure to bring a buff or handkerchief as you will need it for the 3 mile drive in the sand. Once we got to the antelope canyon, it was pretty crowded for December 30. Rob did state it is their busiest time of the year as tourists flock during the new year. Once we got in, Nina and the rest of the tour guides would give tips how to take pictures in the canyon. Very helpful as my pictures turned out pretty amazing. The whole experience was great, if only we got the sunlight, but we were told it only comes out during March-September. We headed back to the bus to have lunch at Glen Canyon Dam with sandwiches, pasta salad, chips, water and soda. You can walk the bridge less than a mile to get a view of the dam and Colorado river. Lastly, was the hike to Horseshoe bend. Bring good walking shoes as it is a hike, but doable. Its about a mile walk. The Horseshoe Bend was breathtaking. Again, it was crowded but you can still take great pictures minus the people in it. Rob drove us all back to our designated hotels and ended the trip on a great note.

Ultimate best adventure tour group I've been to so far! I booked the adventure including both Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend from Flagstaff. You can book this tour if you're staying in Sedona, but limited dates available. So we decided to drive out to Flagstaff and meet/park at their tour office. If you're staying in a local hotel in Flagstaff they can do pick-ups there also.

Our main tour guide and driver was Marcia, and she is definitely one of the best tour guides out there! So knowledgeable about all the area, culture, and whatever else you can think of! You will definitely not get bored while on the bus rides. If you're looking for an educational/informational tour of the area book with Marcia! And if you're worried about bathroom breaks on the long drives and tours there are pit stops we do make and Marcia will sure accommodate other stops.

Our first stop was to Horseshoe Bend and that was absolutely beautiful! The trek out there was fairly short, but lots of sandy hills to get there! But trust me, it's worth it! You get ample to take in the scenery and take pictures if needed. After this part of the tour, we headed over to Glen Canyon Dam for our lunch picnic. We were provided with our choice of sandwiches, pasta salad, and unlimited drinks and snacks/chips.

Second stop was to Lower Antelope Canyon. We were connected with a local Navajo tour guide just for trek through Antelope Canyon named Kyrin. This part was to say ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It was such a surreal experience and completely stunning! Without a doubt, the best place I've actually experienced. Warning there are some pretty steep areas with ladders and staircases and such narrow spaces/walkways, but totally worth it!

Tour was definitely worth every penny and if I was ever in the area again, I would book another tour with Grand Canyon Adventures!
