We were excited to book this tour for our first of 5 days in Culebra, as an introduction to the Island. The description stated that we would learn about Culebras fascinating history and ecosystem from our guide, which did not occur- the only communication with participants was to give directions. Several on the tour had never been snorkeling, and the directions given were basic at best. The description on the website also states that the tour would be 3 hours long, and was for those already on Culebra. We ended up with an entire tour group from the ferry. Our actual kayaking/snorkeling time was under 2 hours, and was quite rushed. At one point, we were told once you've seen a sea turtle, get back in your kayak- not the experience we were hoping for. The last hour for the tour group was that they were taken to Flamenco Beach- not what was advertised as part of the 3 hours we paid for, as we were already on the island. Lastly, the description mentions several times that water and snacks would be provided, which did not occur at any point. We certainly would have brought more than one bottle of water with us on a hot day had we known this. This was a disappointing start to our time in Culebra, and a disappointing first booking with Viator.
