* Today you will visit the old city, the capital of the island on foot with your guide. You will take photos of historical sights that remain till today from Byzantion, Lusignan, Venetian and Ottoman period while you listen to the history from your guide.
* There are multiple departure times for this tour.  The first one is at 9am and the second one is at  1pm

Stop At: Kyrenia Gate, Ibrahimpasa, Nicosia Cyprus

One of the oldest gate to enter the walled city of Nicosia

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: The Samanbahce Quater, Kaymakam/Mahmut Pasa, Nicosia Cyprus

It was built in 1900 by the Ottoman Saban Pasa. 72 houses were given to the people who were in need. You will see the cistern in the centre.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: The Venetian Column, Mecidye/Asmalti, Nicosia Cyprus

It was brought to Nicosia from the ancient city of Salamis during the Venetian Period. The symbol of St. Mark Lion was on the top of the pillar. Your guide will tell you all about its story.

Stop At: Selimiye Mosque, Nicosia Cyprus

It was built as a Cathedral by Lusignans.Thypical Gothic style. When Ottomans came to island in 1570 they added minarets and converted into a Mosque. It was known as Ag. Sophia Mosque until 1956 and afterwards named Selimiye Mosque.

Stop At: Buyuk Han, Nicosia Cyprus

It was built in 1572 by Muzaffer Pasha. It has a cistern and mescit in the centre.Nowadays its one of the nicest tourist attractions. You can strech your legs while you enjoy the taste of the Cypriot coffee with the traditional borek.....

Stop At: Famagusta Gate, Nikiforou Foka, Nicosia Cyprus

It is one of the 3 Gates which surround the city of Nicosia. We'll walk by and stop to take some photos while you listen to its history.

Stop At: Archbishop's Palace, Kyprianou Square, Nicosia Cyprus

We stop by the Archbishop's palace to take some pictures while you listen to its history.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Ledra Street Crossing Point, Ledra Street, Nicosia Cyprus

This is one of the border crossings between North and South Nicosia. The tour will start here and end here.
