The highlight of the visit is definitely the coffee tour led by Tio Leo himself who is a wealth of knowledge and knows almost everything there is to know about growing coffee beans. He is passionate about coffee and loves to share his knowledge and experience with visitors. The tour takes you on a journey through the plantation, where you can see the different stages of coffee growth, from the tiny seedlings to the mature plants. You'll learn about the different varieties of coffee beans, how they are grown, and the unique characteristics that make them special.

The Llanos de Cortés waterfall is a natural wonder located just a short drive north of the city of Bagaces. Situated along the inter-American highway and on municipally-owned land, this waterfall boasts an impressive drop of around 30 meters. The area has long been a popular destination for locals, dating back to colonial times when the indigenous population first discovered its existence.

In 1589, Spanish explorer Juan de Cortés y Dávila was passing through the region and was struck by the abundance of water in the area. It was during this visit that he stumbled upon the waterfall, which would later be named in his honor.

Today, the Llanos de Cortés waterfall continues to be a popular spot for visitors and locals alike. The area is being promoted as a tourist destination and is a perfect spot for a nature lover.
