Our outlander tour is unique we follow the story and show you the true historic places linked with season 1

We dont visit the muselium or castle leoch due to not always been able to gain entry to muselium and you cant go in to castle leoch as its a private home and tours must be pre arranged

This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Fort George, 11 miles off the A96, Inverness IV2 7TD Scotland

Visiting fort george the only remaining fort in the highlands you will learn about the history of the Queens own Highlanders - The Black watch.

The outlander link at the beginning of the outlander series jamie is been flogged at fort william seeing the one of ardiser shows you how big these forts are while finding out about the history in the Highlander Museum

Stop At: Clava Cairns, Balnuaran of Clava, IV2 5EU Scotland

Claire started her story here by touching the stone at craig na doune and waking up 200 years in the past where she was to meet Jamie fraser before the time of the battle of culloden

Visit culloden battlefield walk around the field follow the battle lines taken by The Red Coats and the Jacobites, Take a look at the memorail stones for the clans can you find the fraser stone -

Also near the entrance find the stone for Diana Gaboldon the author of the outlander series

This was the hiding place of Bonny Prince Charlie at the time of the great battle

We are now half way though the story of season one and jamie has been captured by the infamous Jack Black Randall and again taken to fort william .

we are following the steps along the loch to urquhart castle you will spend upto a hour enjoying the 16th century ruins and looking for the lochness monster
