On the first day, we will drive over the Carpathian Mountains to arrive in the region of Maramures. Here, we visit the tallest wooden church in Surdesti, before visiting a popular artist from the area.

Stop At: Merry Cemetery, Sapanta 437305 Romania
In the afternoon we will visit the Merry Cemetery in Săpânța, which comprises over 300 tombstones with paintings cheerfully depicting scenes from the lives of the deceased.

On the second day we will embark on a breathtaking tour on a steam train, travelling along the secluded, meandering Vaser Valley.

Stop At: Wooden church of St. Nicholas, Bogdan Voda Romania
In the afternoon you will visit the beautiful wooden church of Bogdan Voda, before we drive back to Cluj.
