Madrid Old Town Tapas & Wine Small Group Tour

Join a member of the Spanish Wine Tasting Association and other English speakers (mainly couples) on a tour of Madrid’s oldest neighborhood. We will visit my favorite establishments taste their specialties and drink exclusive wines from my unique collection.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Plaza de la Villa, Calle Mayor, Madrid Spain

In the 12th century Madrid was just a village. Our adventure will start at its main square, where the old City Hall is.

Duration: 10 minutes

Pass By: La Latina, La Latina, Madrid

The whole tour takes place in La Latina neighborhood. Madrid oldest and most atmospheric quarter.

Stop At: La Latina, La Latina, Madrid

Bar 1: It is one of the oldest restaurants in Madrid. A must if you want to taste the best vermut on tap I know. They have a long menu with countless tapas. We will taste their best 2.

Duration: 30 minutes

Bar 2: It is the most beautiful tavern in the number1# food&wine street in Madrid, Cava Baja. Brace yourself for an outstanding white wine and a type of tapas called: "tostas".

Bar 3: Tucked away in a pedestrian area only locals know. We will cook Spanish beef on red hot ceramic plates with different types of peppers and potatoes. I ll take advantage of the opportunity to open outstanding red wines from my own cellar.
We will finish the night with one of the top pairings in Spain: raisins wine (Pedro Ximenez) with vanilla & macadamia ice cream.
