Meet your guide at your hotel and take a metro ride to the river station. Starting from Nydalen, a popular swimming place, walk along the river Aker with your professional guide who will be explaining in your language the industrial past of this important river that divides Oslo into east and west. See the powerful waterfalls and feel the vibrant atmosphere of the area around the river. Pass under historical bridges and see the art inspired by the fairytales and folklore of the Norwegian culture. See old fabric buildings and breweries that have been converted into schools and entertainment establishments. Appreciate some street art at the bottom of the river banks.
