The tour commences at a central meeting point on Phu Quoc, called I Love Phu Quoc Restaurant & Bar (transportation from and to your resort is excluded) where you will be warmly welcomed by the team that runs this local establishment. Your guide for the morning assures that all guests are accounted for before as we move along from the restaurant to one of the established markets on the island. We continue our morning for a visit to a pepper farm and one of the leading factories, famous around the country for its Nuoc Nam (fish sauce). These two stable ingredients in its cuisine have put Phu Quoc on the culinary map as its trademark products. A tour as such would not be complete without getting a hands-on introduction to true Vietnamese cooking; we meet a family at their home where you will be guided in the preparation of two or three, fairly easy to make, dishes. Your efforts in the kitchen will be put to the test when you can finally try out what you have cooked during lunch at this family’s home. This hospitable family is eager to add some of their cooked dishes to the table, making it a culinary feast.Sample Menu
