Day 1: Welcome pick up at Mandalay Airport

Welcome to Mandalay, the second largest city of Myanmar. Upon your arrival at the airport, your tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.

Day 2: Mandalay classical full day tour with U Bein Bridge

Stop At: Mahamuni Pagoda, Mandalay Myanmar
Your guide will firstly take you to the Mahamuni Pagoda, famous for a bronze consecrated Buddhist statue covered with gold. The temple also consists of Buddhist pagodas in different styles, including bell-shaped ones and pyramid-like stupas which are rarely seen in the south of Myanmar.
Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Mahagandayon Monastery, Amarapura Myanmar
Then take you to Mahargandaryone Monastery, the most important Buddhist Academy in Myanmar. You will see thousands of monks of the temple walking along the street at about 10 am in order to collect alms from local disciples. They will then go back to the temple to have their meal together. At noon, you will have lunch after going across the City Harbor Bridge.

Stop At: Sagaing Hill, Sagaing Myanmar
In the afternoon, your guide will escort you to visit the Sagaing Nunnery and go to the top of Sagaing Hill to appreciate the full view of the city.

Stop At: U Bein Bridge, Amarapura Myanmar
Next go to the U Bein Bridge. Built in 1856, the bridge is the longest wooden bridge around the world with a length of 1,200 meters (1,300 yards). You will cruise on the river to enjoy the scene of sunset.

Day 3: Mandalay cruise trip to Shwenandaw Kyaung

Stop At: Mingun, Mingun, Sagaing Region
This morning, your guide will accompany you to cruise along the Irrawaddy River to the Ancient Mingun City.

Upon arrival, you will firstly lead you to the Mingun Pagoda. Although only one third done, it is still the biggest ancient pagoda in Myanmar with the rectangle body in yellowish-brown. Next, visit the 90-ton weigh Mingun Bell, the largest well-preserved bell in the world that is still in use. Then go to Settawya Paya, built in 1811 by the King Bodawpaya (1745 - 1819). The Hsinbyume Pagoda was built to commemorate the first Queen of King Bagyidaw (1784 - 1846). The white pagoda has 7-floor wavy base, like a huge cream cake by a view from afar.

Stop At: Shwenandaw Monastery, Shwenandaw Golden Palace, Mandalay Myanmar
Later, cruise back to Mandalay City at 13:00 and visit Shwenandaw Monastery. It used to be the bedchamber of the king and queen, but is now one of the teak-made religious institutions in Mandalay.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Kuthodaw Pagoda & the World's Largest Book, Mandalay Myanmar
Continue the tour to the Kuthodaw Pagoda. It keeps 729 steles carved with Buddhist scriptures, and is regarded as the largest book around the world.
Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Mandalay Hill, Mandalay Myanmar
The last spot of today's tour is the Mandalay Hill, the highest hill of the city with an altitude of 231 meters (758 feet). Standing on the top of the hill, you can have a bird's-eye-view of the whole city and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Day 4: Fly to Bagan, Half day tour with Shwesandaw Pagoda

Stop At: Bagan, Bagan, Mandalay Region
You will be escorted to Mandalay Airport for your onward flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, a local tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel for check-in.

Then, your guide will lead you to the Mani Sithu Market. Here you can buy all kinds of vegetables, fruits, foods, necessities and clothes.

Stop At: Shwezigon Paya, Bagan Myanmar
The next destination is the Shwezigon Paya, one of the four famous Buddhist pagodas in Myanmar and the largest Buddhist pagoda in Bagan. It is the only one built by stones in Bagan and is covered by a layer of gold foil. The pagoda is over 40 meters (130 feet) high, and is surrounded by 53 big sculptures of lions, toad, crocodile...

Stop At: Htilominlo Pahto, Bagan Myanmar
Then, your guide will take you to the Htilominlo Temple. Walking in the temple, you will see four Buddhist sculptures in each floor, facing the four directions.

Stop At: Nat Taung Kyaung Monastery, Near the Ayeyarwady River, Leya Myanmar
Next spot is Nat Taung Kyaung Monastery, which is famous for its beautiful and detailed wooden carvings.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Shwesandaw Pagoda, Bagan Myanmar
Shwesandaw Pagoda is the highest pagoda in Bagan. Staying at the top of the pagoda, you will have a bird's-eye-view of the whole Bagan Plain. Then you will appreciate the stunning sunset from a boat before heading back to the hotel.

Day 5: Bagan highlighted full day tour with Ananda Temple

Stop At: Ananda Temple, Beside Anawrahta Road, Bagan 05232 Myanmar
You will have a whole-day trip to the Old Bagan and the first spot will be the Ananda Temple. Built in 1105, Ananda Temple is the best constructed temple in Bagan, also called the First Buddhist Pagoda of this place. The whole temple is constructed in the shape of a square, which symbolizes balance and harmony.
Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Thatbyinnyu Temple, Old Bagan, Bagan Myanmar
Then your guide will take you to the Thatbyinnyu Pahto, the highest building of Bagan and one of the early double-deck pagodas.

Stop At: Nanpaya, New Bagan, Bagan Myanmar
After that, you will go to the Nanpaya Temple. It is a temple of Hinduism with the inside walls laid of fired bricks while the outside walls are made of sand-stones.

Stop At: Manuha Temple, Bagan Myanmar
Next go to the Manuha Temple. The most impressive relics of the temple are the three Huge Buddhist Statues - a lying Buddha and two sitting Buddha statues.

Stop At: Gubyaukgyi Temple, Bagan-Chauk Road, Bagan Myanmar
After that, your guide will take you to some lacquer shops and see all kinds of beautiful lacquer handicrafts. Then, you will visit the Gubyaukgyi Temple. Built in 1113, it has lots of well-preserved wall paintings of Buddha. Near the temple is Myinkaba Village where you can get to know the life of the local people. The village is also a famous lacquer handicrafts 'factory'. You can pick some favorable items and see how these artworks are made as well. The last spot today is the Pyatthat Gyi Temple.

Day 6: Fly to Yangon, Half day tour with Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda

Today your guide will escort you the airport. You will take flight to Yangon. When you arrive, a local tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel for check-in.

Stop At: Chaukhtatgyi Buddha, Shwegondine Road Bahan Township, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar
Built in 1907, the Chaukhtatgyi Buddha Temple consecrates the biggest indoor reclining Buddhist statue of Myanmar with a height of 5.4 meters (17 feet) and a length of 20 meters (65 feet).
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandoola Rd, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar
Then, you will be taken to the Sule Pagoda, sitting at the city center. The pagoda, with an octagon base, is best known by keeping the sculpture of the Guardian God - Sule.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Maha Bandula Park, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar
Next, your guide will escort you to the Maha Bandula Park, which was built for memorizing a national hero named Bandoola General.
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Shwedagon Pagoda, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar
The last spot is the Shwedagon Pagoda, the holiest Buddhist site of Myanmar. The body of the pagoda is covered with gold and hung with thousands of gold and silver bells, shining in the sun. A farewell dinner with dance show is served at a fine restaurant to conclude today's private Yangon tour.
