Itinerary

Day 1: Arrived in Cusco

Stop At: Cusco, Cusco, Cusco Region
After your arrival at Cusco airport, you will be picked up and brought to your hotel (three or four stars). Spend the day relaxing and adjusting to the altitude, or take an optional city tour of Cusco (own expense). The tour will visit attractions such as: The Cathedral, Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay. After the tour ends, you will be driven you back to your hotel.

Day 2: The Sacred Valley Tour - Aguas Calientes Town

Stop At: Pisac Market, Central Plaza Centro, Pisac 08105 Peru
The first stop is the artisanal capital of Peru, the small village of Pisac. It is famous for its craft market in the main square.
Duration: 45 minutes

The National Archeological Park is made up of groups of archeological remains in which terraces, aqueducts, paths that are associated to walls and gates, water channels, cemeteries, bridges, pools and other structures, It is 4 square kilometers big. On this area the ruins are located covering the slopes, all built between the 10th and 11th centuries AD

The Intihuatana solar observatory receives the greatest admiration. Fine quality stone carved into the shape of many hands forming a semi-circle.

The terraces that encircle the mountain are impressive due to the location varying from 3,000-3,450 masl (9,843 - 11,319 fasl). There are 14 different styles of broad terraces. To manage their water supply, the Incas carried out engineering works creating many channels that travel the length of the terraces, and, despite the height of construction, they even included decorative fountains.

Stop At: Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo, Ollantaytambo 08676 Peru
Ollantaytambo is the only Inca town that is still inhabited. Its stone streets preserve the Inca architecture combined with temples and colonial squares, Ollantaytambo is at the opposite end of the town of Pisac (80 kilometers from the city of Cusco). The town is 2,700 meters above sea level (msnm) and houses some of the most amazing Inca buildings in Peru.

Today, this picturesque town is a must for tourists visiting Machu Picchu.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Hot Springs (Aguas Calientes), Signposted from main square, Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu Peru
Board the train to Aguas Calientes, this journey takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes and you can taste a small snack on board to make the most of the view, is one of the most incredible experiences you can have on a train.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Day 3: Machu Picchu Guided Tour - Cusco

Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru
After breakfast, you will board the bus to visit the amazing Machu Picchu Inca citadel with your guide, who will provide a walking tour for at least two hours. Then, you will haver some extra time to explore this amazing place on your own. Then board the bus down to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included). Then you will take the train to Aguas Calientes where you will be brought back to Cusco in your transport.
Duration: 4 hours

Day 4: Rainbow Mountain (Vinincunca) Tour
