Your guide will meet and start your walking tour from the main entrance of the Old City Hall, aka: "Palacio Municipal del Centro"
This tour will take you into the non-touristy neighborhoods within Downtown Playa del Carmen to taste the local flavors (sabor del Barrio)
You will discover the other face of Playa while you learn about the traditions and history of the Mexican dishes to be tasted in the eateries, form street taco carts to small family owned restaurants and at the same time you will learn about the urban history and stories of the local's way of life.

The travelers will be accompanied by the tour guide in a walking tour of the local and non-touristy neighborhoods of Dowtown Playa del Carmen, along the way they will stop at several different eateries managed by local families from street carts to local restaurants for delighting themselves with the native flavors and they will enjoy different tastings and the guide will share with them the traditions behind the Mexican recipes and also stories about the local culture and folclore of Playa del Carmen

They will also enjoy of the tastiest tamales of the Gonzalez family street stand; at the familiy park they will taste a Marquesita (one of Yucatán People’s favorite desserts)
