Private Wine Tour in Madeira

Leaving the city and heading to the west side of the island. Our destination is the breathtaking valley of Serra d ́Agua. Crossing the valley and climbing up towards the Encumeada pass at a height of 1000 meters above sea level offers a phenomenal view of the North and South coasts and valleys of Ribeira Brava and São Vicente.

After this fabulous photo stop, we carry on descending.the Unesco ́s largest forest of laurel trees "Laurissilva", once we get to the small village of Lameiros, we will take you on the fantastic beaten tracks of Madeira using our unforgettable Land Rover ́s Open Roof through the "Laurissilva" forest and other specimens of Fauna and Flora.

Stepping off the beaten track, we reach the fabulous northern vineyards, followed by a unique taste of different Madeira table wines among some tapas.

The tour begins in the morning as we pick you up from your hotel in Funchal. Our expert guide will take you on a scenic journey towards the mountainous region of Serra d'Água in Ribeira Brava. During this drive, you will be able to take in the stunning views of the island's countryside.

After reaching Serra d'Água, we will take a short break for you to enjoy the scenery and take some photos. From there, we will continue the journey to Encumeada.

In Encumeada, we will visit a high altitude viewpoint that offers breathtaking views of the north and south coast of Madeira.

Next, we will embark on an off-road adventure as we take an exciting path to reach Lameiros, a picturesque area located in the north of the island.

The final destination on this tour is São Vicente, a charming village located on the north coast of Madeira. Here, you will have the opportunity to do some wine tasting with tapas.
