Terceira Island Half Day Tour

Join us on 3 hours of calm and relaxed visiting of the island, mixing culture and beautiful views, we will make the most of this time together, driving by Monte Brasil, the only peninsula of the island, Goat Islet, an underwater volcano, São Sebastião, the first place we populated upon arriving at the island and Serra do Cume, one of the remaining ridges of the biggest caldeira of Azores! The visit to Algar do Carvão is optional and depends on the hour of the tour

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Monte Brasil, Freguesia da Se, Angra do Heroismo, Terceira Portugal

We will visit Monte Brasil, passing by the volcano's crater, reaching the viewpoint to Angra Do Heroísmo city, from where we can witness the history flowing through the city!

Duration: 30 minutes

Pass By: Salga Bay, Portugal

We will drive by Baía da Salga, where we had a historical fight with the spanish, who built the fortress we have visited in Monte Brasil

Stop At: Imperio do Espirito Santo de Sao Sebastiao, Vila de Sao Sebastiao, Angra do Heroismo, Terceira 9700 Portugal

On this village we will visit one of the oldest churches of the island, as well as an Império, a little chapel dedicated to the Holy Spirit, one of the highlights of our culture

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Serra do Cume Viewpoint, Serra do Cume, Praia da Vitoria, Terceira Portugal

Here we will witness the biggest Caldeira (structure of a collapsed volcano) of the Azores, with only two ridges left, each separated by 7 km!

Stop At: Algar do Carvao, Estrada Algar Do Carvao Center of Island, Porto Judeu, Terceira Portugal

It is an empty volcano, of its kind only 3 exist, the visit is acessible, with stairs all the way (no elevator). We will visit the structure, witnessing rare formations such as stalactites formed by silica.
