The North of Ireland has become famous for the murals painted in almost every area of the country . These pictures of IRA ,UVF murals are often flashed around the world on news bulletins or used as a backdrop when interviewing people. They often depict the history and political views of both traditions and are a way of marking territory. These wall paintings often look intimidating but they have become as much of a tourist attraction as many of the regular attractions within Belfast and beyond.

Stop At: Bobby Sands Mural, 139 Falls Road, Belfast BT12 6AF Northern Ireland

Falls road Belfast the heart of Republicanism and the birth place of the Provisional Irish Republican Army.
You guide will give you a full detailed account off history from a Republican point of view and you will be able to get a photo of the worlds most famous mural Bobby sands.

Stop At: Divis, Belfast Northern Ireland

Divis flats is the start of the Falls road and welcome mural depicting everyone is welcome.
You guide will explain about the British having the army base on the top 3 floors and using people as human sheilds and explain the burning of Falls road 1969 by loyalist and 800 years of Irish history

Stop At: Clonard Monastery, 1A Clonard Gardens, Belfast BT13 2RL Northern Ireland

Clonard monastery is iconic with the people of west Belfast.
This is the heart of the Catholic faith for many and hosted the secret peace talks between Gerry Adams and John Hume.

Stop At: Shankill Road, Shankill Rd, Belfast Northern Ireland

The heart of the loyalist community and birth place of the UVF /UDA dating back to 455AD.
Your guide will tell you in detail about the murals painted by locals on family homes.
800 years of British history will be told in detail and how people still our loyal to the British crown.

Stop At: Crumlin Road Gaol, Crumlin Road, Belfast BT14 6ST Northern Ireland

Built in the 1800s and housed most of the notorious political prisoners.It also was a hanging jail right to the 60s.
With a tunnel under the road leading to Crumlin road court house.

The international wall has over 40 murals that change monthly and depict different conflict or a pressed people around the world that haven’t got a voice.
Palestine,Kurdish Cuban to name a few that the Republican communities support

These massive wall where built 1969 to keep the peace and remain to the present day.
With over 30 through the city you have a opportunity to write you name on this wall.

Stop At: Falls Road Library 49 Falls Road, Belfast BT12 4PD Northern Ireland

Bobby Sands IRA volunteer MP mural on the side of Sinn Fein head quarters and opposite the former blacken tans base The Falls Library.Your guide will give you a in-depth history of the 1981 hunger strike,

Stop At: Shankill Graveyard, Shankill Road, Belfast BT13 3AE Northern Ireland

The upper and lower Shankill road have murals depicting the protestant people loyalty to the British crown.You will have a opportunity to get photos of these murals.
