Pickups are done within the historic center of Cusco. between 4:00am to 4:30am However, if your location is far from the designated pickup area, our team will provide you with a nearby location for the pickup to take place.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Cusipata, Cusipata, Cusco Region
After a comfortable 2-hour drive, you will reach Cusipata, where a stop will be made for a hearty breakfast and an opportunity to purchase water and snacks for the trek ahead.
Duration: 40 minutes
Stop At: Vinicunca Mountain, Peru
After breakfast, you'll continue for approximately one more hour to reach the starting point of the hike, located at 4,900 meters above sea level. The 4-kilometer trek to Rainbow Mountain will take you through a mix of flat and uphill terrain, providing a diverse hiking experience.
As you make your way along the trail, you will be treated to breathtaking views and the chance to encounter wild alpacas, llamas, and vicuñas, adding an element of wildlife appreciation to your adventure. Upon reaching the summit at 5,010 meters, you will have some well-deserved free time to rest and, if weather conditions permit, take in the awe-inspiring panoramic vistas of Rainbow Mountain.

Afterward, you will descend for approximately one hour, returning to the starting point. From there, transportation will be arranged to take you back to Cusipata, where a delicious local lunch will be awaiting you.
