I would highly recommend this bike tour by Pedal Bike Tours. The people were all friendly, easygoing, and very service oriented. My tour was led by Grey, a terrific wing leader who made sure everyone was having a good time, stayed safe, and learned a little something about Portland along the way. It was a truly memorable and worthwhile experience.

We had such a fabulous tour with Kieran! The tour was so informative and we got to see so many parts of the city that we would have never found on our own. Kieran made it really safe to cycle in downtown- I just followed his lead and was able to look at everything around me. It was a good mixture of seeing the city and cycling along the river and across the beautiful bridge. I highly recommend this tour!!!!!!

I felt he adapted the tour to our specific group so we could have the best experience. I highly recommend Kieran if you are looking for an informative and fun tour of Portland.

Jesse was our guide today and he was great! We started at the bike shop to get our bikes and fittings and went on to bike through various areas/districts of the town. I've been on plenty bike tours before and this one doesn't really require a certain level of fitness as there were frequent stops to rest and listen to history and story telling. I personally enjoy bike tours so I can cover a lot of ground per se while getting the interesting city/history insight along the way. And for a 3 hour tour I learned and saw plenty. Usually I take bike tours on the start of my trip to help me get an idea of where I want to focus the rest of the trip on but was not able to schedule it in till the day of leaving this time around. And with all the walking and exploring we already did prior to this bike tour, still saw and learned new things : There is a 15 minute portion where we can break up and explore a part of town for donuts, coffee, etc before moving onto the next spot. If you are looking for a work out and/or not so interested in learning about the city/history then you might want to look at another tour since you might feel the pace a tad slow.

Great way to go around the city and exercise at the same time, and on a bike you can cover a bigger area. We did go everywhere on both sides of the river.

My daughter and I spent our first morning in Portland cruising through downtown via bike. Our tour guide, Noah, tailored the information about the city around our interests (history, art, books) and did an excellent job of helping us get the "lay of the land" so we would be comfortable exploring during the remainder of our visit. He even provided a handy (and the by the end of the trip, well worn) map of the city with notes of where we had traveled and what we had expressed particular interest in exploring later.

The tour is a perfect way to start your visit to the city of Portland and it doesn't matter if you ride bikes frequently (my daughter) or haven't been on a bike in years (me). We had a wonderful time and we highly recommend this tour.

This was my first time ever visiting Portland and this bike tour was my lifesaver! Traveling around was so much easier because the bike tour was very comprehensive and helped me get an idea of where I was and how to get where I wanted to go as I explored the city after my tour. Our tour guide, Melanie, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer questions regarding not only the history of the town, but give tips on fave places, unique fun facts, and was attentive to the requests of our tour group. If you plan on exploring Downtown Portland for the day, I highly suggest doing the morning bike tour first, and then plan the rest of your day after getting a better idea of the city layout.

Excellent tour. Well-worth it. Well-paced and gave a complete overview of the city. The tour guide (Sarah) was fantastic. Extremely knowledgable with an engaging personality. Whereas you might tune out other guides who drone on, you wanted to listen to what Sarah had to say. The bikes were comfortable, easy to use and changing speeds was effortless.

Our tour guide, Sarah, was excellent. She was knowledgeable about Portland and she had a great sense of humor. The bikes were comfortable and easy to ride. We got a great view of the city and she gave us some interesting information about the place as well as insider tips on food and drink. However, the tour was way too slow, we stopped much too frequently. We also rode on the sidewalks which is a huge NO-NO in my book.
