Our trip to Xi-an was Fantastic! First of all, our guide - Evan - couldn't have been better. He picked us up from the hotel, and took us to the Terracotta Warriors. Wow. Then to a restaurant he liked for Lunch, and ordered local foods for us. Next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. A quick rest at our hotel, then off to the Tang Dynasty Dinner Show. While that was a little touristy, the Dumplings were great, and the show was pretty. I highly recommend this tour, and especially if you can get Evan as a guide. He was knowledgeable, funny, and a great communicator!

      Hello, All Traveling Colleagues!

D and I have enjoyed our times with Owen, our tour guide in Xian. Owen was very much of well-informed, so enthusiastic about Xians history, provided extra efforts to assist on our Transportation as we requested, and very carefully catered to our diet in trying those authentic Xians entrees. He was surly to make us feeling very comfortable and happy to our times with him throughout the entire tour!

      Tips:
Wear comfortable lite sun protection clothes
Wear sunscreen cream on your body and face
      Bring your sunglasses
Bring your own napkins or will be purchased
Bring some toilet papers from your hotel coz some public restrooms are not providing them
Dont expect AC and Ice cold water everywhere not culturally things popular in China
Be prepare to go through security several times

All historical places that we visited were very crowded most of the times and warm atmosphere. This tour is inspiring and expanding more our knowledge about The First Chinese Emperor how was all came about! As a summary, we have enjoyed and educated a lot more in depth of Xians culture, people, foods, entertainment, and the First Chinese Emperor!!!

We are Definitely is a YES! recommending this Private Tour to Travelers! You will get your money well-spent and worth of your times to learn a lot about The First Chinese Emperor, culture, foods, and entertainment, etc.

Our tour guide, Owen, did an excellent job... could not ask any other way!

      Thank you, Owen and 西安!

      Best Wishes to all,

      D and M

We enjoyed this tour greatly, despite the day being a long one. Our guide, Rosemary, made the tour the best one we've had yet in China. Her friendly demeanor, great English, and knowledge of the area were all outstanding, and even 12 hours after we began the day, she was cheerful and accomodating. If you only have a short time in Xi'an this is certainly a great way to see the sites. Would do any tour that Rosemary guided...

Wow what a fantastic day! Once again Viator has delivered exactly what we required. From 9am to 10pm we managed to pack so much into one day and never felt rushed or stressed. This was of course mainly due to our wonderful guide Rosemary - what a pocket rocket. Well done and thank you Rosemary! M and J

Excellent tour guide and transportation!!!! I went to Xi'an with my boyfriend and we don't speak any Chinese, so I thought choosing a private tour would solve our problems about transportation and communication while we were there. Our tour guide is from Happy Box Travel. Her name is Rosemarry Jing Jing. She is so nice and friendly. We really impressed!! Her English is very good, we didn't have any communication problems at all, and she has very deep knowledge about Chinese history. She explained everything to us so well and made everything even more interesting. At first, we only interested in going to see the Terracotta Warriors, but Jing Jing really made every places we visited more interesting as she explained its history. I would highly recommend taking this private tour with Happy Box Travel.

This tour was fabulous! Our tour guide Rosemary took our first visit to Xi'an to another level by sharing her deep knowledge of the city's rich history. We started the day visiting the Terracotta Warriors. Incredible! Being able to see the pits and warriors up close was unforgettable. Rosemary's commentary and her willingness to answer all of our questions truly enriched the experience. She was a pure delight. She was warm and welcoming. Her English was very strong and we had no communication issues whatsoever. Although we had an agenda, a major benefit of having a private tour was that we never felt rushed. We were able to linger in places that we found most intriguing and then skim through parts of the day that didn't capture our interest as much. Unlike previous tours I've taken, we were able to set the pace of the tour while being mindful of the day ahead. The next stop was lunch...DELICIOUS! Trust Rosemary with her choice of dishes. Each one was delectable. Following lunch we made our way to the Wild Goose Pagoda which was interesting but paled in comparison to the the Warriors in our opinion. We finished the day off at the Tang Dynasty show and dinner. The dumpling feast was also good but we were actually still quite full from lunch. The show was great. The production, music and costumes were top notch! This tour was pricier than some of the other options but we were very happy with it and would highly recommend this to others!

We (my wife and I) took the Terracotta Warriors, Wild Goose Pagoda and Tang Dynasty tour on Sunday, May 4, 2014. We flew from Shanghai Saturday just for the experience and had to be in Beijing Monday, so we had high expectations for the tour. The tour actually exceeded our expectations beyond your wildest hopes and dreams. The tour guide, Jade, was absolutely wonderful. She is the best guide we have every had. She was very committed to seeing that we enjoyed the tour and answered many of our non-tour questions we had about China. She knew each aspect of the tour very well and she obviously had worked to learn every possible detail. Most of all my wife is gluten intolerant, and Jade went above and beyond our expectations to accommodate her dietary needs. This is highly unusual and we REALLY appreciate it. We feel that, because of Jade, we have fully experienced the Terracotta Warriors and the Wild Goose Pagoda, and also other aspects of Xi'an and China. In addition, Jade was very aware of the problems my wife has with walking for long distances or at a fast pace and helped her at every opportunity. We feel that Jade is an extraordinary person as well as being an extraordinary guide. Frankly, because of Jade, we will consider our trip a success and we really feel like she contributed to our knowledge of China, which was our goal in this trip. Also, the driver (I believe Mr. Wong or Mr. Wang) was excellent and very professional. He made the trip a pleasure. Also, I want to mention that Happy Box Travel has been the most responsive of all of the agencies. They have an e-mail address to confirm, which is wonderful when we are traveling internationally and quickly respond. Again, we can't say enough about l how outstanding this tour is organized and how outstanding Jade is as a tour guide and person and how much she contributed to our appreciation of China.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and made this tour worth every buck! The show was very different and we were really glad we made it. The dinner was just exquisite! Only thing we would recommend to improve in this tour was the AC not working well during the dinner show!
