Then let the adventure begin! It’s time to get on board the boat to ride through the beautiful Samana Bay, home for few months per year of the Humpback Whales. The whale season in the Dominican Republic goes usually from mid January till mid March. If you're lucky to do the tour during this time of the year you'll have also the chance to see the whales in their natural environment! We'll stay on board until crossing the bay and reaching the small town of Samana, called Santa Barbara. The boat ride takes around 1 hour during the year and around 2 hours during the whale season.

From the dock, we'll get on a truck and make our way to the most magnificent waterfall in the country, El Salto de Limon (Limon Waterfall)! We’ll reach a ranch located in the mountain and be taken into the tropical forest, for a short horseback riding tour along the River Arroyo Chico. The dense vegetation will captivate your senses and leave you with a real taste of adventure. Ultimately, the trail leads to the picturesque Limon Waterfall: an impressive 170 foot drop of fresh water, right in the middle of the jungle. Splash yourself in the refreshing waters of the lagoons at the base of the waterfall. And don’t forget to take the perfect picture of your family and yourself in this memorable place!

Here fill your belly with a delicious traditional Dominican lunch complete with rice, beans, meat, salad, fresh fruit and coffee to finish with. Drinks are included too! Take advantage of the open bar with rum, soft drinks and water. While the morning has been dedicated to the adventure, the afternoon will be focused on relaxing.
