Red Canyon River Trips’s North Fork or Half day whitewater trip
This is an all inclusive white water rafting tour.This stretch of the river is 14 miles long,and we put in about half way up to Yellowstone National Park.This extremely scenic river has some awesome rapids also.This is a free flowing river into the Buffalo Bill Reservoir,So of course the best water is when the snow is melting.During extreme high water times we will have minimum age requirements to do this tour.Here at CWA we are safety first and fun second.We have extremely qualified guides to raft this river.They are CPR certified,have done rescue training,come equipped with CPR masks,first aid kits,throw bags,etc.
We also have the choice of our most popular half day whitewater adventures.Our rivers change depending on snow melt so we will provide the information for the best trip available at that time.Once the Northfork has stopped running Our reservoir fills up and with dam releases makes our Half Day Rafting trip a blast.Please call for more information.
This tour begins from our shop located at 1119 12th street Cody wy.This tour leaves at 9:00 am so please check in 15minutes prior to your tour.We recommend quick drying clothes,and Sandals.This water is fresh snow melt,so we do provide slickers for your use.I recommend that you bring along a sweat shirt,socks,and tennis shoes to leave in the van to use after the tour is over.At the end of the river,you’ll be having a picnic by the beautiful Buffalo Bill Village.Your lunches will include beverages,sandwiches on homemade bread,fresh fruit,fresh veggies,potato chips,and a homemade brownie.After lunch you’ll head back to Cody and will be given tons of fascinating history about the Wild West,and you’ll get to view the photos of your tour.
