Hoian to My Son Sanctuary - PRIVATE Vespa/Scooter via Countryside
An exciting private tour on stylish Italian vespas or modern scooters with local team. We'll drive through countryside villages to have a glimpse of the real Vietnam. We'll stop along the way to take pictures of fishing villages, rice paddies, cattle herds, local farmers...
Once we reach My Son sanctuary, we'll walk at slow pace about 90 minutes to visit the ancient Hindu temples, recognized by UNESCO as World Culture Heritage site in 1999.
About 70 Hindu temples were constructed from the 4th to 13th centuries by the ancient Champa kingdom of the Khmer Empire. The temples were abandoned until the 19th century when a French man discovered them during a hunting trip.
This worshipping complex is located in a beautiful valley, surrounded by majestic mountains and a sacred water stream. Walking among the temples, you'll see many bomb craters left from Vietnam War. Despite the war's impact, the ancient temples are still fascinating for all visitors, history and architecture experts.
