Half Day Flower Tour in Kunming

Our tour takes place in Kunming, capital of Yunnan province and a historical and cultural city. People around China also call her “Spring City” because her climate is like spring all year round. Because of this, you will find colorful flowers blooming every season, and thus Kunming is also called “Flower City”. We will show you China’s biggest fresh flower market- Dounan Flower Market, were you can learn how to arrange flowers.

Highlights:
• Dounan Flower Market: Visit the biggest fresh flower trade market in China with more than 300 varieties.
• Flower arranging workshop: Learn how to make a flower arrangement using seasonal flowers.

Your driver and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at 13:00 pm. If you choose to go by metro, you will meet your tour guide at Dongfeng Square subway station Exit H at 13:00 pm (You will have to find the subway station on your own). Then we will go to the Dounan Flower Market, which is the biggest fresh flower trade market in China. There are more than 500 flower shops with 66 categories of flowers which trade 5 to 6 million flowers of over 300 species a day. From there, more than 280-tons of fresh flowers are exported to the whole world, by road, train or plane. Flowers here are also considerably cheaper than elsewhere in China. In the market you can learn how to arrange seasonal flowers and who knows, you may even find your hidden talent. After that we will return back to Kunming city. If you came by metro we will take you back to exit H of Dongfeng Square subway station. Tour guide can then help you find your next destination.
