Micheal was a riot. He told stories that you don't know about things you wouldn't have learned in history books. He showed the group we were in restaurants that my have been overlooked if you didn't know where to look.

This was a great way to taste the local San Antonio food. It's run by San Antonio Detours. First stop was a local seafood shack. I didn't think San Antonio as a seafood town, so I didn't care as much for the fried oysters, salted cod paste, deviled eggs, or corn jalapeno hush puppies, but this tour gave a lot of food. We were so full at the end that I couldn't finish the dessert, so I took it to go! I loved the other stops. We only visited 3 locations, but that was enough. If I had a recommendation to make this tour better, perhaps I'd like to go to more locations and less food tasting at each stop. There were specialty drinks at each spot, and they looked delicious. The tour guide was so much fun and full of knowledge. He made the evening very interactive and enjoyable. The good part is, we get to cover the distance with the van, so you get to explore San Antonio more than the walking tour! Highly recommend it!

Good restaurant choices with delicious food. Guide that drove us around and took us into the restaurants was knowledgeable and good fun. My only gripe is like all tours in USA, be prepared to tip even though you have already paid for the tour.

Our tour guide Melvin was great! He was very helpful and courteous. We were looking forward to a van tour. Unfortunately we spent way too much time stuck in traffic. The restaurants we visited were ok. I would not seek out any of them on our own again. The dessert one was Lorraine and it was truly not good.
