Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at ICN Airport or Seoul – Jeju

Pass By: Manjanggul Lava Tube, 182 Manjanggul-gil, Gujwa-eup, Cheju, Jeju-do, South Korea
Arrival at ICN in the morning, and Airport pickup by a driver. We will head to Gimpo airport and fly to Jeju Island from there. The tour guide will be waiting to meet you in Jeju.

The first place we are visiting in Jeju island is Manjanggul Cave. It is regarded as one of the longest and finest lava tubes in the world. The creation of this tunnel was initiated by an eruption of a parasite volcano, as its magma dig its way from the land towards the ocean. Despite its age which is about 200,000 to 300,000 years, the excellent condition and a variety of stone structures make this cave high in scientific value.

Stop At: Woljeongri Beach, 33-3, Woljeong-ri, Gujwa-eup, Jeju, Jeju Island South Korea
Woljeongri beach and Café street is known for its scenery, tranquil white sand and beautiful emerald ocean. Near the beach, a stretch of cozy and beautiful cafes aligns the streets.

Stop At: Gwangchigi Beach, 224-33, Goseong-ri, Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo, Jeju Island 699-901 South Korea
This beach is distinctively different from normal beaches thanks to a few special features. The first is its soft black sand formed from gradual weathering of basalt rocks. Whimsically enough, the water is still emerald clear by the dark sand. You will also walk on solidified lava rock structures covered in green moss. Smell the fresh sea air, touch the vibrant surroundings, and walk as far into the horizon.

Day 2: Jeju

Pass By: Mysterious Road (Dokkaebi Road), 2894-63, 1100-ro, Jeju, Jeju Island 63079 South Korea
Here objects on the road roll up the hill instead of moving downwards. On the surface, this upward movement appears to defy the laws of gravity but in reality, the phenomenon is just a mere optical illusion.

Stop At: Teddy Bear Museum Jeju, 31, Jungmungwangwang-ro 110beon-gil, Seogwipo, Jeju Island 63535 South Korea
At this museum of teddy bears, you can learn everything about teddy bears, and will be entertained by their unique collection of dolls. Famous artistic works, fairy-tales and traditions of various countries are recreated by using the bear dolls.

Stop At: Hallasan National Park, San 220-1 Sanghyo-dong, Seogwipo, Jeju Island South Korea
Hallasan is 1,950m in height and is the highest mountain in South Korea. Widely known by scientists for its geological value, the mountain is a dormant volcano made mostly of basalt. There are 368 parasite volcanos called Oreums around the main mountain.

You will take Eorimok trail(Northwest): This short trail is another relatively easy trail for beginners. In spring, the nearby meadows are adorned with red royal azaleas. From the stone pathway to Manse Dongsan, visitors can catch a breathtaking panoramic view of the countryside and the island’s signature Oreums.

Pass By: Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff, 36-30, Ieodo-ro, Seogwipo, Jeju Island 63547 South Korea
Moving past a flock of pine tree forest, we will find a beach filled with a group of mysterious, black rock pillars in shapes of cubes and hexagons in varying sizes. These rocks almost seem as carved by human hands. Formed by the cooling and solidification of lava flows, the columnar jointing arose from contraction of molten lava during cooling. This is a unique sight designated as natural monument of Jeju Island.

Pass By: Cheonjiyeon Falls, Cheonji-dong, Seogwipo, Jeju Island South Korea
Cheonjiyeon Falls: The legend behind Cheonjiyeon Falls is told that seven fairies serving the King of Heaven came down to the pond on stairs of clod and bathed in the clean waters. The waterfall itself is 22 meters high and 12 meters wide. This national natural monument is also known as a famous eel-fish habitat. The forest nearby contains a variety of rare plants such as brambles.

Pass By: Jeongbang Waterfall, Donghong-dong, Seogwipo, Jeju Island South Korea
Jeongbang Waterfall is a magical waterfall that directly descends into the ocean. Such feature cannot be found anywhere else in Asia. Next to the waterfall is an inscription on stone referring to a passage of a royal servant from Chinese Qin Dynasty, ordered by the emperor to find an elixir for permanent life.

Day 3: Jeju

Stop At: 장전리사무소, Jeju-si, South Korea
A landscape of light pink cherry blossoms is the harbinger of spring. On Jeju Island, its large petaled cherry blossoms make for an especially beautiful landscape. The annual Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival is held at tree-lined venues at Jangjeon-ri, Aewol-eup.

Stop At: O’sulloc Tea Museum, 15, Sinhwayeoksa-ro, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, Jeju Island 63521 South Korea
The weather condition accompanied by abundance of sunlight, wind, and rain makes Jeju one of the largest green tea producers in Korea. Enjoy high-quality teas in the museum, and watch the scenic green tea fields from the observatory.

Stop At: Sanbangsan Mountain, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, Jeju Island South Korea
Mt. Sanbangsan is made up of a huge body of lava from violent volcanic activity 700,000 to 800,000 years ago. A rich variety of curious rock formations can be found on the walls of the lava cliffs.

Stop At: Yongmeori Beach, 181-1 Sagye-ri, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, Jeju Island South Korea
This beach is famous for its landscape where nearby Mt. Sanbangsan stretches into the ocean, resembling a dragon’s head going underwater. The entire area is made of sandstone stacks that were built up over millions of years. Wide rocks stacking up on one another along the seashore cliffs complete the majestic scenery.

Day 4: Jeju - Busan

Stop At: Shinhwa Theme Park, 38 Sinhwayeoksa-ro 304 beon-gil, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, Jeju Island 63522 South Korea
Jeju Shinhwa World is an amazingly advanced, premium resort that offers world-class attractions filled with popular characters and stories integrated with the latest technologies. It also has K-Pop content-based restaurants that make a special dining experience.
Shinwa Theme Park is where you can meet all the friendly animated characters we all know very well but the Theme Park is not only for the children but for the adults as well. Shinhwa Water Park have wide variety of rides and slides, including the first 230 meters height slide in Asia.

Hotel Pickup in Busan and Head to Jinhae cherry blossom festival (1h)

Jinhae Gunhangje Festival is Korea’s biggest spring festival, attracting 2 million visitors every year. The festival first began as a memorial service to commemorate Joseon period’s most noteworthy naval admiral Yi Sun-sin and has now grown to become a festival enjoyed by everyone. A stream and bridges are decorated with luminous laser lights, and reenactment of ancient parades fill up the fantastic cherry blossom tree lanes. Multimedia fireworks show embroider the night sky, and air-shows are brought up by ROK Air Force.

Stop At: Busan Gamcheon Culture Village, 203, Gamnae 2-ro, Saha-gu, Busan 49368 South Korea
Consisted of houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain, this village was originally made by war refugees for their settlement. In 2000's, the city government of Busan launched maintenance and revitalization project in the area, bringing vibrant murals and sculptures into the meandering alleys of the town. The success of the city projects earned this village the nickname "Machu Picchu of Busan."

Busan Tower is one of the most famous landmarks in Busan. You can see the entire metropolis glimmering below as you walk around the top deck! This landmark tower offers a 360 degree view of Busan.

Stop At: Jagalchi Market, Nampo-dong, Jung-gu, Busan South Korea
This market represents Busan and is famous throughout the country. Visitors can buy and eat fresh raw fish right at the market. The common scene in the market is comprised of mostly elderly women selling mackerel, sea squirts and whale meat on wooden boxes along the road outside of the market and along the shore.

Pass By: BIFF Square, Nampo-dong, Jung-gu, Busan South Korea
BIFF Square is the main venue of Busan International Film Festival(BIFF). It is a unique place where numerous film theaters are gathered in a single district, and it is also a well-known street food heaven. For the youth living in Busan, it is an ever-crowded place to enjoy a variety of leisure facilities. Handprints and footprints of Korean film stars fill up the floors of its streets.

Stop At: Gukje Market, 38, Gukjesijang 2-gil, Jung-gu, Busan 48946 South Korea
Following the Korean War, refugees who fled to Busan set up stalls in order to make a living. Shops in Gukje Market sell an assortment of new and used items. Since vendors deal in both wholesale and retail sales, the average customer can purchase various items at incredibly inexpensive prices.

Day 6: Busan - Gyeongju - Busan

Stop At: Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, Busan, 86 Yonggung-gil, Gijang, Busan, South Korea
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is situated on the coast of north-eastern Busan. While most temples in Korea are located in the mountains, this temple has found its charming location along the shore line. The main sanctuary of the temple was reconstructed in 1970 with careful attention paid to the colors that were traditionally used in such structures. On the right-hand side, inside the a cave, is a uniquely designed Buddhist sanctum. Other special sites at the temple are four lion statues, the 108 stairs, and stone lanterns lining the rocky landscape. Midway down the 108 steps one can pause and enjoy the calming sounds of the waves, and view the majestic sunrise.

Stop At: Bulguksa Temple, Bulguksa 385 Bulguk-ro, Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do 38127 South Korea
Head to Gyeongju(1h) and Bulguksa temple.

Bulguksa Temple is an absolute historic jewel of the Silla Capital Gyeongju, also inscribed as a UNESCO heritage of the world. It's a temple where one can discover sophisticated masonry skills of the era in the stairs, bridges, and pagodas.

Stop At: Seokguram, 999 Jinhyeon-dong, Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do 780-400 South Korea
Seokguram, located in Tohamsan Mountain, is the representative stone temple of Korea. This valuable grotto has been kept intact for over 1,200 years, thanks to its design that facilitates natural ventilation and humidity control. Cold spring water was designed to flow beneath the structure, settling down any moisture that formed in the grotto towards the floor.

Stop At: Bomunho Lake, South Korea, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gyeongju, Bomun-ro, 446
Bomunjeong, Bomun Tourism Complex – Cherry blossom: Along the lake is In April the whole walkway is covered with pink petals of cherry blossoms.

Stop At: Cheomseongdae Observatory, 140-25 Cheomseong-ro, Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do 38170 South Korea
Cheomseongdae is the oldest existing astronomical observatory in Asia. Constructed during the reign of Queen Seon-deok, it was used to observe stars in order to forecast the weather. This stone structure is a beautiful combination of straight lines and curves, built in a shape of a cylinder.

Stop At: Cheonmachong Tomb, 89-2, Hwangnam-dong, Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do South Korea
Within Daereungwon Tomb Complex is a large field of giant Korean tombs in the shape of round hills, resembling female breasts. At Cheonmachong Tomb inside the complex, you can enter into the tomb itself. Its hall is consisted of a wooden coffin placed inside an underground chamber mounded with boulders and earth, characterized as a typical upper class tomb of the Silla period.

Stop At: Bomun Lake, 150-1 Sinpyeong-dong, Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do South Korea
Bomun Lake is an artificial lake in Gyeongju with well-conditioned walk road and bike lanes alongside it. There are bike rental shops near the lake and you can partake in water sports such as duck-boats and an entertainment park. Every spring delicate cherry blossom trees decorate the tranquil ambience of the lake, and the tracks from Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Marathon Race pass through it.

Head to Busan and Delicious local food will be served for dinner. Drop off at your hotel in Busan or Airport transfer to Gimhae Airport
