During this private tasting we walk you through the secrets of Belgian chocolate: why is it world-renowned, who are the chocolate makers, how is it made, sustainability, trends… By trying different chocolates & cacao you will discover how diverse Belgian artisanal chocolate is. At the end of this interactive experience, you will be a true connoisseur!
The Chocolade Ambassade offers unique chocolate experiences, where quality is at its heart. When you step inside our doors, we fully immerse you in the world of chocolate & cacao. We are a couple of Ghent foodies who have spent about 3 years exploring Belgian artisanal chocolate. We have tried over 100 craft chocolate makers. In our shop you find artisanal chocolate from 4 different top Belgian chocolatiers who represent the highest quality of Belgian chocolate: from a 90-year-old family atelier creating traditional chocolate to a new generation of chocolate makers roasting their own cacao beans and creating adventurous flavours!

With so many chocolate shops in Belgium, it can be difficult & time-consuming to find the right quality. During this tasting you will try chocolate of different top chocolatiers, from all over Belgium: an easy way to discover which style of chocolate fits you best.
- 3 activities in one
As you will learn a ton of facts about Belgian chocolate & cacao, this tasting is the perfect alternative (or addition) to visiting a chocolate museum. Afterwards, there is also an opportunity to do some chocolate shopping if you wish to do so.

The Chocolade Ambassade is located in the historic centre of Ghent, around the corner of the Gravensteen castle & a 5-min walk from Graslei & Korenlei. This means the tasting can be easily combined with a day of sightseeing.
