Day 1: Shangri-la(Diqing) - Ganden Monastery - Nixi Pottery Village - Tibetan Town. O/N Shangri-La

Your guide will sign your name and meet you at your hotel lobby at 09:00am or Shangri-La airport.

Today, you firstly will visit Ganden Monastery, As the largest-in-scale Tibetan Buddhist temple in Yunnan, Sonzanlin is reputed as the Little Potala. Nestled on a hill slope, the whole temple complex is just like a giant and imposing castle with fabulous mural paintings. Delving into the monastery, you can check out the abundant cultural relics such as Buddhist scriptures, Tangka works and Buddha statues.

Stop At: Nixi Tangdui Black Pottery Village, 40 Mins From Shangri-La, Shangri-La County China
After lunch, you will drive for the Nixi Pottery Village famous for its centuries-old black pottery making art. In this lovely Tibetan village, you are given a rare chance to learn to make your own pottery vessels from a local craftsman, and the class will take about one hour.

Stop At: Dukezong Ancient Town, South East Of Shangri-La Old Town, Shangri-La County 674999 China
Afterwards, proceed to Dukezong Ancient Town with a history of over 1,300 years. Following our guide, you will wander through the archaic lanes crammed with wooden white-wall dwellings, Tibetan Temples, gilded prayer halls and pagodas. At the central square of the town, you are able to get a close touch with the real local life by joining their leisure activities such as singing and dancing.

Day 2: Potatso National Park - Baiji Temple. The tour end.

In the monring, your guide will meet you at 9am then transfer to Potatso National Park,need 40 minutes driving, 30km.

Stop At: Potatso National Park, Pudacuo Scenic Resort, East of Xianggelila, Shangri-La County 674400 China
The Potatso National Park which is a world-class nature reserve with varied landscapes including highland meadow, alpine pastures, mirror-like lakes and wetlands as well as lush virgin forests. An amazing boat cruise on Shudu Lake will take you step into the untouched part of the reserve where wildlife lives. Then take a leisure stroll at Militang Pasture to breathe in the enchanting steppe. Next, pay a visit to a local Tibetan family to enjoy a Tibetan-style meal and experience the authentic home life of locals.

After the lunch, you will visit the Baiji Temple. It is an off-beaten spot perched on a hilltop in the west of Shangri-La's Dukezong Ancient Town. Though it is little known to travelers, the temple offers an awesome bird's eye view of the old town and the surrounding serenity of Shangri-La.
At the end, your guide will escort you to your hotel.
