Upon your flight landing/train arriving, your local guide and driver will wait you by holding a welcome board with your name and transfer to Chongqing hotel.

Stop At: Jiefangbei Square, Junction of Mingzu Road, Mingquan Road and Zourong Road, Yuzhong District, Chongqing 400000 China
After having a short rest, your guide will go with you to the Jiefangbei Square, centering on the People's Liberation Monument. It is referred to as the 'Times Square of Chongqing'.

After that, will show you around the old Ciqikou Village. On the both sides of the street stand antique houses and shops that sell various artworks like embroidery, Chinese calligraphy and paintings as well as local snacks.

In the morning, will meet you at 9am and take you to Dazu County by a comfortable private transfer in around 2 hours.

Stop At: The Dazu Rock Carvings, In DaZu Zone, Dazu County 402360 China
It is the birthplace of the amazing Dazu Rock Carvings which were created from the late Tang Dynasty (618~907) to the early Song Dynasty (960~1127). With the theme of Buddhism, Dazu cliffside carvings are distributed in Beishan, Baodingshan, Nanshan, Shimenshan and Shizhuanshan.
You will spend the day visiting Baodingshan Carvings located about 527 meters above sea level. It mainly consists of the Dafowan Rock Carvings Area and Xiaofowan Rock Carvings Area. There are about 10,000 statues of Buddha carved on the 500-meter cliff in the U-shape Dafowan. It is said to be a long narrative mural with plenty of commentary but no repeated content. If interested, you could walk to the nearby shopping street where imitated statues and other handicrafts are sold.

The travel route in the zoo is: Bonsai House – Panda House – Giraffe House – Elephant House – Kangaroo House – Science Classroom and Amusement Park – Birds Paradise - Goldfish House – Hippo House – Rhinoceros House – Oriental Art Seminar - Wild Donkey House – Yakin House – (Huashengyuan Restaurant) – Peach Flower Hill - Tiger Hill – Leopard House – Bear Hill – Puma House – Gorilla House – the West Gate of the Zoo.

The next destination is the General Joseph W. Stilwell Museum, which was constructed on the base of this friendly American General's former residence. During World War II, he has made great contribution to the antifascist war of Chinese people. In the museum, you can see the General's bedroom, office, meeting rooms, scripts and other daily goods.
